Excellent happy hour deals and a really welcoming vibe. The space is comfortable, with good natural light near the windows, which makes it a nice place to sit for a while. The staff were friendly overall and made the experience easygoing.
We actually just stumbled across Vin Sur Vingt while walking around shopping, but it ended up being a really pleasant surprise. The ambience is great, and both the food and wine impressed us.
Honestly some of the best wine I’ve had in DC so far.
We’re only here on vacation, but this is one place we’d probably come back to again while we’re in town

I’ve been here twice and both times the service was outstanding and attentive. I have only had apps and drinks, but they have a wide selection of cheeses and the requisite pâtés, which are delicious. The cocktails and wine selections are very unique and there’s a little something for everyone. If you’re a solo diner, it’s easy to post up at the bar and chat with the friendly staff.

Didn’t have food this time but rather chose to get a nice drink by their patio and everything was excellent. They have a good selection of wines, a menu full of options and excellent service from start to finish. There was a 25% off bottles and they also have happy hour deals. Last, but not least, they gave us sparkling rose on the house with the bill. Overall, it was great experience and we loved Lurbin’s attentive care. We will be back!

Grace is one of the best hosts/guest service technicians I have ever had the experience of being served by. She was consistently attentive with the perfect balance of space for the guest and attentiveness. The food was cooked as desired, however the branzino was definitely the best entree on the table, alongside the duck confit and specialty steak. The chicken + liver charcuterie was to die for IMPO and I consider myself to be very bougie about my cheese. Delicious food, wonderful service. I was indecisive about wine choices and Grace was particularly helpful with that process. We loved the drinks and the whole experience.

Delicious food and wine. I ordered the mussels which were good, but the broth was rather simple and could have used a more diverse flavor palette. But the waiter brought some bread at the end of the meal to soak up the extra broth, and that redeemed the whole experienced and filled me up. I will come back here in the future and try additional menu items.

I sat on the patio around 4pm and was surprised they have an excellent happy hour menu! I ordered the white wine $10 (white Grenache), 6 wellfleet oysters $1.50 per oyster, escargot $5, and I couldn’t help but also get the chicken and duck mousse served with some delicious crunchy bread and pickles $12 (not on happy hour). It was so nice and relaxing being out on the patio after running errands all day. I will definitely be back for dinner with my husband and will be trying the mussels, beef tartare, and the pork liver pate.

The cheese and warm bread were probably my favorite part. The French onion soup was good. Could be cheesier. The confit de canard could be more flavorful and moist. The wine was great. The atmosphere was charming. The chocolate mousse tasted like actual dark belgian chocolate. Overall enjoyable time. Reminiscent of a brasserie in Paris. Not too terrible price wise.

Cute neighborhood spot that I feel always gets attention taken away by Etto and Le Dip but this place is better/worth it in my opinion. Pricey but they have an exceptional list of wines. So many wines that it’ll take you a minute to get through it all. It’s a big spot with nice outdoor seating. I haven’t had an issue getting a table here by walking in. They serve food like cheese boards, fries, escargot. Staff is super friendly and helpful in selecting your wine.

I love this place!! The service was exceptional and so were the food and wine!
We started with with some Chablis and Muscadet, to drink and some escargot for appetizers. It was delicious. All of it. It was tough not to sop up the garlic and oil fro these snails! Yum.
Then we switched over to some burgers and a bottle of Burgundy from Bernard Rion.
We will definitely come back to this place!

This place is one of my favorites! Tim, one of their regular servers, is amazing and always has the perfect new wine suggestion for us to try. The food is lovely as well- the French fries are a personal favorite as well as the salads. Sit on the patio during happy hour for fun people watching on 14th street!
