Yummy! I noted a delightful smoke to the salsa right off. The #6 i had (pastor) was very good just the right spice/heat level! Good amount of the cheese sauce for the rice as well. Even the rice tasted brtter. Others ordered the #5 and said it was delicious as well.

Food was good, although fairly bland as most Mexican food is in the area. We received free chips and salsa, which was quickly replenished when needed. The music was much too loud for the small number of people in the space at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon.

From the moment I arrived the friendly staff welcomed me and guided me to my table. The flavor of every dish was bold and authentic, especially the fresh guacamole and the sizzling fajitas. The colorful decor and lively atmosphere made me feel like I was on a patio in Mexico, and the outdoor seating added a relaxed vibe. Service was quick and attentive without ever feeling rushed. Since moving to the Cedar Rapids area, I’ve tried several different Mexican restaurants. I won’t go so far as to call myself a connoisseur, but I do have a loving affair with the cuisine. After eating at Villa’s, I no longer remember the name of any other Mexican restaurant that I’ve eaten at. I intend it to stay this way. Amazing food, great service, no notes. 10/10

They have a food truck that comes to my local gas station I frequent and these people are amazing. Their hospitality is absolutely amazing and anytime I see the truck I know where I’m grabbing my dinner for that night.

Always good authentic Mexican food and always great service. Their margaritas are some of the best around!! We like the one that the tequila is soaked in a whiskey barrel first….SO good!! Free chips and salsa. Their menu is so big with such a variety of foods along with lunch specials and ala cart… and they have a great kids menu also.
