We had an amazing meal at this charming husband-and-wife-run Mexican restaurant! You can truly taste the love and care they put into their food. We ordered the Special Monterey with slow-roasted pork-so tender and flavorful, it practically melted in your mouth. The Deluxe All Meat Burrito was just as impressive-hearty, perfectly seasoned, and generously filled. Everything felt authentic and homemade, and the service was just as wonderful as the food. Let me tell you what I am not a big fan of tacos whatsoever didn’t really think too much of them. This place has the absolute best tacos I have ever had in my life. I even got my buddy to do catering for their wedding just because of their tacos. Their other food I’m sure is really good. I cannot get myself not to order tacos every time.

My coworkers and I used to come here from time to time. We will now never go again because of our last experience. Ruth was our waitress. She is so RUDE. She insulted my manager within the first 3 minutes of walking in and continued to do so the entire time we were there. She told my manager that our boss needs to stop smoking. We told her he can do what he wants to. She also gave us the hardest time while trying to order food and kept getting upset at us because we interrupted her. She told my coworker to move her purse off the floor so she doesn’t trip on it. Which would be fair if it was actually in the way. But no, her small purse was under her chair. Not in the way at all and had no where else to put it. Just so weird and rude to tell customers to move their things if it’s not in the way. All other staff was great. No complaint about them.
The food is not the best either. Every time I order something with beef in it, my whole plate is swimming in grease. Their chicken is better than the beef, but it’s still not good. Tastes like it came frozen then shredded. Chicken fried tacos and tostadas are dry. There is no sauce at all. The only food I can appreciate at this place is the chips and hot salsa. That’s definitely not enough to make me or any of my coworkers come back. Especially after how horrible our service was this last time visiting. Not coming back ever. I’m surprised this place is still open.

Tryed to get seated in this place 18dec25 4:13pm and I asked the lady a simple question about the call in number and a smart remark was given . That made me not want to eat at this establishment. Bad customer service causes loss of revenue I will go elsewhere.

This is my go to place for delicious Mexican food. I grew up on Villar’s so I’ve been a fan for decades. I was away for 17 years and when I moved back to town, they met my expectations. I like it all — their burritos, special Monterey, and Tacos are my favorites. They make their chips thin which I like. I bring people here a lot and my friends always enjoy the food and some come back without me. Great place. Nice people. Good food. I highly recommend it.
