Villaggio Iccara is the kind of place that instantly makes you wish it was in your hometown. Visiting from Ohio, we stumbled upon this New Jersey gem and were blown away by both the food and the experience. What really stood out is how thoughtfully they curate separate menus for dining in versus takeout, each clearly designed to shine in its own way. Dining in feels elevated and indulgent, while the takeout menu is packed with comfort-food favorites that travel perfectly.
On the dining side, the specials were absolute standouts. The oysters stuffed with chorizo were unreal—briny, rich, smoky, and perfectly balanced, easily one of the most memorable bites of our trip. The flatbread pizza was another winner: crisp, flavorful, and crafted with the kind of care you expect from a true Italian kitchen. I had been craving a Philly Cheesesteak and was shocked to find the other spot we planned on visiting was actually the same place we were already at. For takeout, we went classic and couldn’t have been happier. The Philly cheesesteak was loaded, juicy, and authentic, and the Romano-style pizza was next-level—featuring an airy but light crust and packed with flavor, even after the drive. Villaggio Iccara manages to nail both elevated dining and crave-worthy takeout, which is no small feat. If you’re local, you’re lucky. If you’re visiting from out of state like we were, it’s 100% worth going out of your way for—and honestly, we’re already planning our return.

Some guy said he had a cheese steak from here and he still thinks about it and I knew I had to get one.

I came back and realized he had written a whole review. I just read that first sentence and knew what was up. This is a good cheesesteak. Came out to like 18$ and change but worth every penny.
Bread is soft but not soggy it’s wonderful. It has great toasting potential. Beef is delicious. Toppings are great too. Solid portion. I finished the whole thing but I could’ve easily saved a half for later. They need cherry peppers tho.

One of our regular spots. Great italian food, served with a smile. This time took the GF for her birthday. With the exception of the Chicken Parm (her favorite albeit not on the menu) came out rubbery. They quickly fixed it and it was perfect as usual. This time I tried the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pie. Very tasty, not hot though. Our server was a doll, and not only made sure everything was right, but went above and beyond bring out a special gift for my girl for her birthday! Will continue to be one of our favorites!!

I recently had my sisters bridal shower at Iccara. What a BEAUTIFUL event it was— all thanks to the incredible staff at Iccara and Cristina the event coordinator. Everyone was so kind and accommodating- everything was delicious and guests were raving about the food and gorgeous room, and how friendly the staff was. Iccara’s recent renovation is so so beautiful! The staff had every single detail covered and setup and cleanup went so smoothly. I cannot thank you enough for helping make my sisters shower so memorable and perfect. I can’t wait to return with my family and husband !

I had my baby shower on 11/2 at Iccara and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the entire experience! The service was impeccable and the staff made sure guests were comfortable and had everything they needed. As always, the food was amazing from apps to dessert. The entire day flowed smoothly – I am so thankful for Cristina for ensuring that the day was perfect. I would definitely recommend Iccara to anyone looking for outstanding food, service, and an overall great experience.

Not sure if you’ve had the new cheesesteaks from Iccara but they are ! We had them for the 2nd time today and they have to be the best cheeseteaks I’ve ever had in NJ, NY or PA. We ordered cooper sharp + fried onions and wiz + long hots on semolina rolls with shaved prime rib. wow wow wow! highly recommend (do yourself a favor and let me know what you think) ….photo doesn’t do it justice as this was after we ate it.

Dined in last night. Have been multiple times but first time dining in since their remodel. Alicia was our server and was excellent. Meatball appetizer, pizza and entree’s were all very good and fairly priced.

First time here. The calamari and vodka pasta was delicious. BYOB. I had the salmon with brussel sprouts which were also great, and finished off with cake. Would recommend to anyone looking for decent Italian restaurant.
