Wanted to try this place for awhile. The staff was very nice and alot of fun, the food unfortunately was not. The quality of the meats that are used were not very good. I really was looking forward to the street tacos however they were very dry and the Pico was bland. I hope to try this place again and hopefully will be better. Being from the southwest and tasting really good Spanish foods hopefully they can improve the quality.

I’ve been a customer of VT since they were on the corner.
The food has been consistent and worth going back for again and again. I’ve eaten quite a bit from the menu, but haven’t tried it all. My favorite MF are fajitas – VT sets the bar pretty high.
Also, their refried beans are amazing.
If you are going through Dryden, this spot is a must try.

I always have a better experience here going during Lunchtime than Dinner hours. Went with a party of 7 and had a delicious plate of various tacos including Birria, Al Pastor, & Fried Shrimp. Washed them down with a classic Mexican Coke. Food was hot, & fresh. Service was patient, attentive, & timely. Atmosphere was ok, but the space is echoey, and the temperature inside was very cold. Overall a very decent experience.

Asked for a quesadilla with shredded chicken. It came back with cubed chicken. Waitress told me “they” don’t really like to change the food when it’s a certain way. Okay fine, but tell me that prior to putting my order in and I’ll gladly order something else. The quesadilla was awful. Barely any chicken. And what is that lettuce with tomato on top? Also for that crappy quesadilla it was $12.50. Salsa was not good. Beans were runny and flavorless. The queso was great. The french fries were good also.

Well, let’s start off with it. It was nice to see an unused building brought back to use… I had high hopes… getting there, we had to wait as there were only 3 of us and the tables emptied. Apparently, we for larger groups … not to mention a back room that was not full!! 15 minutes… ok, whatever… with staff was friendly enough and obviously busy. HOWEVER, when ordering a Sizzling plate Fajita and the $24 all meat one!!!! And saying Is it really gonna come out sizzling?? Told yes it does. Then your expectations are just that.. !!!! Again my hopes where high. Not only did it come out not sizzling the container for the tortilla shells was Literally hotter, then the cast iron that was to be sizzling! To top that disappointment there was barely any meat or vegetables on that NOT sizzling plate, mind you got all 3 meats see the photos of the $24 meal I could have gone to McDonald’s got a hotter meal and more food… I seriously went home and ate leftover ribs from a week ago that tasted better cold than my cold blan food. My wife at least enjoyed her taco salad. Keep in mind she prefers less flavor and spices . My mother in law had the same as my wife.. said it was alot for her but flavorless!!! Maybe it was just a bad night.. maybe food cost is so high they are high priced and cutting back on flavor and quality!!! Last note I had many other places where always comes out sizzling and a pile of vegetables with meat, leaving me full.. Sadly, they fell very short!!! For now, 2 stars as the friendly enough staff kept it from a 1 star

The variety of the menu is great and leaves you with a ton of options. They offer corn tortillas for several of their tacos which is helpful for those who are gluten free. We enjoyed a variety of their street tacos as well as the Biria tacos and I can happily report all were delicious. Don’t miss out on their margaritas!

Picked up dinner from this new taqueria last night and it was great. My college-aged son said the beef burrito was one of the best he’s had. Taco’s were delicious too. Loved the rice and beans as well. Delicious comfort food. Our only suggestion: spicier hot sauce please. So glad we have this new fresh, healthy and yummy food option in D-town. Update of November 2023: restaurant has moved to a larger, still cozy location in Dryden and now serves great margaritas with their yummy food. Highly recommend

Really disappointed. This is our go to for Mexican but last night wasnt even worth 1 star. 4 of us dining, took over an hour for our food to arrive, without any explanation, 3 plates were “luke warm”, the burrito wasnt supposed to have cilantro or onions but came with it anyway. No flavor on the shrimp fajitas. Sent 1 plate back to get rewarmed and they scraped the guacamole and sour cream off to warm it but never added them back. My daughter didnt even eat her dinner, said she would eat it at home when she could warm it up. When mentioned to the waiter the food was cold, he said, no that doesnt happen.

Absolutely love this place!! Look at the menu every time but always end up getting the carne villager burrito. Spot on every time, they don’t miss. They used my grill while catering my friends wedding and it was an honor.

I would say this place is pretty hit or miss. Definitely better before they moved off the corner to their new location. Prices have been one very high and it’s just inconsistent. When it’s good it’s great, when it’s not it’s just not worth it.
