Four of us stopped for some coffee and breakfast sandwiches after seeing a recommendation in the Nordlys guestbook. The coffee, food, and atmosphere were awesome! Very unique choices and offerings – especially considering the location. We definitely did not expect this caliber of coffee establishment in such a rural area and were pleasantly surprised. We ate on the outdoor patio after admiring some of the artwork and other items on display and for sale. I highly recommend stopping by – and try the Nordic! I hadn’t had coffee with rosemary before, but it was such a wonderful combo. The staff was very friendly and were even willing to make a custom iced version of it for my friend. The maple coffee paired awesome with the Maple Chipotle Hot Ham sandwich. Chef’s kiss.

We stopped by just to try some coffee and pastries. This place is very cute and has a pleasant atmosphere. The service was fast and friendly. The coffee was good, but the pastries were just average (some were a bit dry, in my opinion). Some of the other food sounded good, so we may have to stop by again to try it out!

Overall the food was good and the atmosphere was bright and refreshing. It was an order at the counter kind of place which was fine, but the staff forgot to bring out the soup so we had to go ask for it. They also put mayo on my sandwich when I asked for no mayo, so I just scraped it off instead of making a fuss since they told us they were short staffed and we didn’t really have a waitress. It seemed to be a popular place, lots of people coming and going. I’d go back and try the coffee next time.

The cutest coffee shop, with the best coffee and treats. The staff is so kind and I always walk out smiling! My favorites here are the almond nut rolls, chicken bahn mi sandwich, and literally any coffee drink they make. It’s all amazing!

Absolutely love Cafe Wren. Unique and delicious food, drinks, and sweets / pastries. My absolute favorite is the morning bun. They also have local artists’ work available. A wonderful atmosphere with a pastural view from the windows, or outside eating area. For Ice Age Trail Hikers, this a the best place to stop as you start your hike or almost finish, and you can camp outside with permission.

Very cute cafe with amazing food and drinks. I’m hiking the Ice Age Trail at the moment and they let me camp on in the back (make sure to call ahead for that). The owner, Stephanie, was incredibly nice and the staff was very skilled and nice as well. Also has a beautiful pergola in the back. If you’re ever in the area, definitely check it out!

Love this spot. I always make a point to stop for soup when traveling to and from my cabin. The homemade soups are always great and unique. Quality ingredients, intentional practices, local art, present and friendly staff.

We came through while backpacking on the ice age trail. Stephanie was amazing. We called ahead and asked if we could camp in the yard and she set us up with a cooler with ice in it and cloths to wash our faces. She allowed us to ore order a few beverages, which were cold when we got there. She had a dog bowl out and left us a snack. The hose was available and she was super sweet to us. We stayed for a lovely breakfast and a chat and I will definitely visit this place again if I am in the area. Small business worth supporting, as she supports outdoor enthusiasts and the local community.
