The Village Pub in Ferndale is a cozy gem tucked inside the Victorian Inn. The menu offers comforting pub classics with a refined twist. It is perfect for a relaxed dinner or a special night out. We have had a few large birthday party celebrations here and they were epic!

It is nice that they have a limited set menu and then bring in creations of flavors from all world. Bring back the cheeseburger lumpia The craft cocktails are excellent, and the service is great. They also have good mocktails and I hope they expand on the selection too. The ambiance blends historic charm with modern flair. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Ferndale.

A very pleasant place to stop in for a drink and/or food. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to our special order. The food was fresh and delicious with the shrimp being the highlight. The prices were fair based on the quality and quantity. I would eat here again. The only negative was a big group came in while we were eating and they were very loud but that is no one’s fault.

Saw a sign off the 101 South about a Victorian-style building and took the off-ramp in search of this said building. Came across the Victorian Inn and was surprised to find they had a pub/restaurant. Made it just in time for opening at 4 p.m.

Walked into this beautifully crafted building. The staff was very kind and helpful. They sat me right in front of the fireplace and got it started, which was very nice to enjoy on a chilly winter day.

Had the burger with the special sauce (contains anchovies, which is disclosed on the menu). I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed this burger—I’m quite picky. The fries were crispy and on point. The dining and bar area was decked out for Christmas, so the ambiance was definitely a vibe.

Had a latte (making a long trip back home and in desperate need of caffeine). It was very frothy and strong in flavor. They have a legit espresso machine, and the quality of my latte definitely showed.

Ordered the flourless chocolate cake—very different than a regular slice of cake, but rich in flavor, with a crispy outer layer and a very moist, flavorful inside. I’ve never had a piece of cake like this. Truly enjoyed it with the fruit compote and a dollop of whipped cream. The cake went really well with the latte.

If you are a curious being and in search of a different atmosphere, definitely check this spot out. It’s memorable, and the food and service are on point.

Side note: the bathroom was so cute and beautifully designed. I loved the saloon-type doors for each stall—such a personal touch. I absolutely love venues that take the time to put intricate and beautiful details into every aspect of the guest experience. It creates a wonderful core memory.

Thank you for the lovely experience.

I want to give a big shout out to the bar manager CIARA! She was outstanding, kind, respectful, and sweet. The food was fantastic, we had the smash burger and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The drinks were wonderful.
We felt very welcomed by the gentleman in the eel river jacket.
I’d have pictures but I ate that food like if I was starving thats how good it was.

Our waitress was nice, although the female bartender was not friendly and not very responsive or helpful about the beer selection. We had a good burger and a decent Caesar salad, although the broccoli side dish arrived cold. They were already out of Brussels sprouts and the beef pie by 7:00. My biggest disappointment was the lemon drop cocktail which was in the teeniest little glass and was not cheap so I didn’t bother with a second one as it was just a waste of money for just a few sips. All in all, the atmosphere in the pub was nice but the dining experience was a bit of a disappointment.

Great vibes, excellent service, not a huge menu though what is on the menu is always delicious and well portioned. Trivia nights are always so much fun.

Have eaten here a few times under the new ownership. Love the new menu with inventive and unique dishes as well as comfort favorites! The drink menu is amazing and delicious. Tiki night was incredible, great drinks and lively neighborhood bar atmosphere. Family friendly too, kids menu that even picky eaters will find something good to eat!

We had a small memorial birthday party yesterday and all aspects of the village pub accommodations and service were beyond our expectations. The room was set up to our specifications, the appetizers were delicious (especially their herbed butter), and our bartender and server went beyond our expectation. I give the Village Pub an A++ rating.

The new pub twist on the Victorian Inn restaurant is a great disappointment. The broccoli appetizer was surprisingly delicious. Otherwise the meals were salty fried goodness that I could have ordered at a chain diner. I hope this is just the start and that you guys can advance your menu soon! We were so disappointed compared to the old restaurant.

New owners are making it happen. Enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal. I suggest giving this beautiful space another try if you have not been in lately. Lots of pride going into their efforts.
