First off, when Toby Keith wrote “I Love This Bar” back in 2003, I’m almost positive he was talking about The Village Pub in Bradley.
The drinks are great, the bartenders aren’t NPCs (which is honestly rare these days), and the owners are absolute legends. The atmosphere? Immaculate. Cozy enough to relax, lively enough that you don’t question your life choices.
They even book this DJ named “Mo-reese” sometimes. Admittedly, that part can get a little questionable, but hey—every hero has a flaw, right?
Overall? 10/10. Would recommend. Would return. Would probably move in if they let me.

I am unhappy to be writing this review, as I am from out of town on a business trip for work so I decided to stop in to have a drink on Tuesday in the evening I believe around 9pm. the bar itself I actually really liked but the blonde bartender I can not say the same for. Service was so slow I wasn’t waited on for over 10 minutes after asking it seemed as if she was more focused on the guys she was getting attention from than other paying customers and the level of touching/ filtering with other customers or regulars is borderline uncomfortable and unprofessional. And when I tipped sparingly based on service she rolled her eyes.

It was Friday night, 9/26. my first time here. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. I’ve been to several pubs around the Bourbonnais/Bradley area, but this one stood out for the wrong reason. The bartender provided poor customer service, even though there were fewer people in the bar at the time. For the first time, I felt like I was being judged based on my accent and appearance. I had to raise my hand several times just to get her attention to order a drink .Eventually, another customer noticed and called the bartender over. There was only one bartender working, and she repeatedly ignored us. The environment itself was nice, but the bartending left a lot to be desired. I’ve never had such an uncomfortable experience at any other bar in that area.

Very personable and professional owners and staff. Very good place to come and have a good time on a night out. Dj’s that are hired do a fantastic job with music selection for all crowds.

This was my second visit here. I had the prime rib special and it was delicious! The beef was tender and juicy, served with a salad and potato for well under $20. They have a ton of variety on the menu. Service was great and friendly. I’ll be back for sure.

Great place! Friendly atmosphere with a nice selection of craft and domestic beers. Jazmine was bartending when I visited and was absolutely on point for service.
They offer daily drink specials including a loaded Bloody Mary on Sundays. Also a DJ every Friday and Saturday.
If you’re looking for a place to to visit I highly recommend the Village Pub.
