Caffeinated and Lost
All I can say is I’m not much for burgers and pizza but we happened to be in the area and apparently the husband had to eat. Anyhoo, we stopped at village pizza and oh my goodness the sliders are amazing I know I’m aging myself but there used to be a restaurant called ground round that had the best burgers and yes these are exactly the same. I almost stabbed the husband with my fork when he reached over to take the slider off of my plate thinking I wasn’t going to eat it. Then we ordered a small pizza and it was soooooo good.
We definitely plan on going back we drove all the way from Stamford and I’d go again in a heartbeat just for another burger. Oh and the fries were nice and crispy and perfect.
Our meal came out to about $38 not including the tip and the portion sizes were enough for two.

Delicious pepper and onion pizza and Greek salad for lunch today. Courteous and professional staff. We were even offered a complimentary, custard filled Greek dessert called galaktobouriko. Highly recommend Village Pizza!

We went for a quick lunch and were not at all disappointed. What awesome pizza they sell it was so soft and perfectly made. The kids chicken fingers and french fries were also good. Gives a feeling of good old 90’s inside the restaurant. The service was also very good. We had quite a great time.

Best Pizza in CT, hands down. The servers are always welcoming and provide amazing service but taste is even better. Tried pizza everywhere in Ct but we fine ourselves coming back to Village Pizza to get the best one. The dough is soft and tastes fresh and the toppings have original Italian flavor to it. If you are in Wethersfield and in mood for a good pizza, I would recommend Village Pizza. 10/10

Came in for a slice of pizza since it smelt very good. But the pizza is very doughy, felt under cooked. Felt like when you take too big of a bite of a mozzarella stick and start choking no jokes. $5 for one slice is crazy considering the taste and size. Def taking a laxative later so I can poop it out and get it out my system lol

My husband insisted on going here on a whim one weekend, which also happened to be the same weekend of like a falm fest or something so the place was HOPPIN. We lucked out and got a table almost immediately but people behind us did have to wait for a few minutes. The staff were certainly busting their butts to serve quickly and bus tables tho! We started with the buffalo wings, which were really nice and juicy. Minorly odd thing was they give you the ranch in a packet not a cup? It worked out but was a bit messy with buffalo fingers. Def would get the wings again tho. The reason my husband wanted to go here is because they offer thick crust pizza which I LOVE. And let me tell ya they did not disappoint. The crust was thick and chewy and deliciously filling. I also really liked that they let us split our pizza in half with white and red sauce. I ended up liking the white more, but my husband liked red. Would absolutely go back!

I love Village Pizza. My family has been ordering from here for over 4 decades. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Hardworking people! The pizza is thick and doughy but I love it that way. The mozzarella that they use is A+. Not oily like some other pizza places. The food is consistently good. If you dine in, they offer free mini bread bites with butter, so good while you’re waiting. There is also outdoor dining, which is a great option when the weather cooperates. Old Wethersfield’s atmosphere can’t be beat.

I ordered two pizzas for my New Year’s get-together. I figured I’ll order here since a co-worker raved about this place. I had to drive 25 minutes one way to get here though, but I figured it’ll be worth it.
It was NOT worth it. Both of the pizzas were basically overbaked as the cheese was practically dark brown. Extremely dry. It’s almost like I got an old pizza that was sitting under the heat lamp for half a day.
Basically had to order another pizza from my usual place… Thanks a lot….
The atmosphere looked pretty homey and people seem nice, but I’m judging based on food alone since I was eating out… Or rather wasn’t….

Absolute Electric
I went here on the way back from Springfield. It’s a very small town but it’s very beautiful and old. The people there are very friendly very nice and it really made me feel very comfortable just stopping in. The food was great and the people are so nice I feel like stopping in on the way up to Springfield every time.
It’s across the street from this beautiful Church.
I just wanted to add they have a display with local foods displayed and they had all natural ingredients. That’s a good sign that they care enough about ingredients. If they only allow all natural foods on a display I’m sure they show the same care in what they’re making for you.
