We have been here a few times, and recently just got some food on Saturday night. The owner is always so friendly, and willing to accommodate which is one of the biggest reasons we continue to come back. HOWEVER they have been rolling out new food items so we decided to give a few of them a try and HOLY COW SO DELICIOUS. Utica is a small town with not a lot of food options, so we are thrilled to have such good food so close to us.
We ordered the quesadilla, it was so so good. But the star of the show were the wings! We ordered the chicken wings in both buffalo garlic, and mango habanero, I cannot say enough about these wings! They are battered and have the perfect amount of crisp, while being super meaty and juicy, but the sauces were top notch! If you are ever in the area be sure to stop in, not only will you get delicious food, but INCREDIBLE service, and a fun atmosphere.

Incredible food in a great environment with super friendly staff. We loved the buffalo chicken pizza, Chicken quesadilla, and especially the mango habanero chicken wings! The best part was the price at the end, everything is very affordable.

Phenomenal Quesadilla’s @ excellent price(s); the portion of food I receive is awesome & living in Utica- where there’s no grocery store (+I’m not mobile currently)..cantbeat the cost nor the convenience of this delicious menu selection! I also enjoy the space that I’m able to occupy while there- I don’t care to eat cramped up next to others & there’s plenty of dining room/space at the V.I. Also- the drink prices are decent & I enjoy the atmosphere & conversations with the courteous/friendly owner(s); it’s a pretty laid back, and adult-like environment here & I will be back soon!

The bartenders are the best attribute to this establishment. Constant smiles, they remember your name and pretty quick with the service. Beer and liquor selction is typical for a 1980s hole in the wall, The building is pretty rundown, bathrooms look like something out of 50s era horror movie. It has what looks to be potential under the right ownership however the current owner doesn’t seem to have the ability or want to run a business, I personally witnessed several beratements of employees in front of customers and a lack of general understanding for the clientele. The decor is a mix of a roadside bar and a rundown decryptid hunting cabin, both of which I like but not together. There is a dance floor if you like to dance but no DJ even though there is a dj booth so good luck with the jukebox. Overall if your in the area and can’t find absolutely anything else to do then I’d say go but Newark is only 10 minutes away and there you can find quality craft brews, liquors and amenities post 1982, you would however miss out on the drink staff which again are the only reasons to ever walk in the door.
