The food and the service were amazing. The server was very attentive and friendly. We sad at the table right behind the host booth and the hostess made my son’s night while he danced, she danced back with him. I did not grab the name of our server or the hostess but I wish I did. They were great! And really made the experience great besides the awesome food! We are visiting Boston and glad we decided to give this place a try!

We hosted a lunch event for about 30 people in the back room here last Friday, and it could not have gone better. The space was perfect for our group. It felt private enough for conversation while still keeping a great energy and atmosphere.
The food was excellent across the board. We had firecracker chicken, bolognese, chicken parm, and wedge salads, and everything was fantastic. Super fresh and generously portioned.
The service was just as impressive. Emma and Andrew did an incredible job taking care of our group from start to finish. They were organized, attentive, and made the entire event feel effortless. Drinks stayed full, food came out smoothly for a large group, and everyone felt taken care of the whole time.
The overall vibe in the back room was exactly what we were hoping for. Lively, welcoming, and perfect for a group lunch. It made it easy for everyone to relax, connect, and enjoy the afternoon.
Highly recommend The Broadway for group events. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We will absolutely be back.

First off I want to start off by saying the food here was excellent! We ordered the Me Espresso and Mango Shot for drinks, fried goat cheese for an appetizer, and the hot pepperoni and fig and pig pizza, as well as a kids meal. If I was rating the restaurant based on food alone, it would have been an easy 5 star experience.
I’m not sure if we were just unlucky with our primary server but it was the worst restaurant service experience I’ve ever had. She would often walk right past our table and did not come to check on us to see if we needed anything. My husband asked for a refill and she took our glass but never brought one back, our waters also went underfilled throughout the entire dining experience. Then when our daughter’s meal was brought out, they said the plate was hot and pushed it closer to her and she’s less than a year old! Why would you set a hot plate in front of a baby? Her food was also incorrect but they brought out the proper food once we were able to flag down our server a bit later. We had to stop her again as she was walking by us for the check and boxes which also took a long time. Everytime we needed our server and asked for something it was a 10+ minute wait to get what we asked for. The table next to us also had the same server and we commiserated over how bad the service was as they were dealing with the same issues.
I’m sad to leave such a low review given how delicious the food was but the service was too poor not to reduce the overall rating.

Was there a small private event in the back as a fundraiser. Were professional staff they accommodated a large group of people with ease.
The drinks were delicious and strong. They had a wide selection of beer as well.
The food is good but isn’t anything revolutionary. Overall a great time and would definitely visit on weekdays and for brunch.

Decent food (3.5 stars) appetizers were good and fun. but my friends chicken was as dry as the desert at peak sun hours. Way over cooked. The manager did apologize offering a change but since that would be late to the table we left it . Besides that it’s a fun place, friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

This place is always a blast and service/management is impeccable! Went in with a large party of 20+ for a birthday celebration and they were extremely accommodating and kind. Made the night go smoothly and on top of that really special! Highly recommend this place especially if you want to go to Southie. Whether you are there for dinner, a night out, or a big celebration, they are always a 10/10! Thank you to the incredible staff and shoutout to Andrew for the outstanding hospitality. Can’t wait to go back!

Definitely don’t recommend the grilled chicken sandwich, or the chickpea fries, or risking to-go orders from the bar. Took 40 minutes to get my food (the items mentioned above) and they were soggy and cold and the chickpea fries felt like eating slices of yoga mat.

The Broadway is such a solid brunch spot. We came on Easter, which was definitely a quiet day there.
We had some mimosas, the potato skillet, and the biscuits and gravy.
The skillet was so good, like too good. I think I could’ve eaten a second one if I really pushed myself.
The biscuits were incredible too. We had a side of this homemade hot sauce they make, which went really well with it. I put hot sauce on everything though, you don’t need the hot sauce for this.
Service was great, attentive, and quick. Friendly staff, and overall good vibes from the place. This would be great to watch a game as they have a nice bar and TVs. Highly recommend and I’ll be back!

Went for a reservation table of 6 for 730 and had an overall really good experience. Cesar salad pizza was EXCELLENT. So was steak salad and the nachos! However, the tacos were a little bland, maybe bump up the sauce or seasoning, and the roast beef dip sandwich comes WITHOUT dip sauce you have to ask for it? The chocolate whiskey cake was dry and not great.
Service was awesome – I feel terrible I don’t remember our servers name she was very sweet though and a great host. The bar was slow so our drinks took forever.
Overall great experience and would recommend, the interior was recently redone and it was a great dinner overall! Well priced too.

My friend and I shared the loaded potato skillet and it was incredibly salty it was hardly edible. I ordered a latte and by the time it got to our table it was lukewarm – sugar couldn’t dissolved in it. Not worth the price.
