Good food and nice atmosphere.

– Pizza – $18.88-19.50: We ordered one bacon, one half pepperoni and half cheese. The cheese was champion tasting amazing and was very stretchy and great texture. The toppings were a bit scarce but good quality and tasted great. The bacon was grouped in the center more. The hand-tossed crust was cooked good, had a lot of parmesan cheese which was delicious, and of medium to slightly thinner thickness. Overall, the pizza was closer to serving two people rather than three, but within the range they advertized.

– Gluten-Free Cauliflower Pizza – $1: Very thin. The cauliflower flavor was a little more pronounced compared to other restaurants, but it was good for gluten-free.

– Breadsticks – $11: We ordered half cheese and half without. It was soft and seasoned very well. The sauce was on the watery side and very difficult to dip and get it to stay on the breadstick, but was delicious. Overall it was good.

– Five Cheese Mac & Cheese – $16: Very VERY cheesy. The pasta was soft and cooked okay. It was a very generous portion, too.

They also have a burrito food challenge! They said it is 5lbs and you have a 30 minute time limit.

We were a party of 9 and ordered two mediums pizzas, a small gluten-free pizza, mac and cheese, breadsticks, and the last slice was eaten reluctantly meaning it was just enough. We are 5 teenagers and 4 adults. They added a convenience fee of $2.55 and I assume that is because we were a larger party.

– Service: Waters were filled and two water pitchers were left with us to keep it that way. Except for waiting to give our order for a couple extra minutes, we were generally assisted VERY quickly and immediately. They were kind, helpful, and answered all of our questions.

– Atmosphere: Lots of TVs playing sports, but not much audio from any of them. The majority of the noise was from the customers and it was medium to loud and made it difficult to talk. I think it was mainly the acoustics with the wood floor and tall ceiling. They had bar seating, tables and chairs both standard and higher, and there was some mixed booth and chair seating, but I don’t remember seeing any fully booth seating. It was generally clean, organized, modernized, and professional-ish.

– Conclusion: The prices are a little higher, but the food is good.

Visited on a Thursday at 7pm with family.

I had to text the manager personally tonight because of Very BAD customer service experiences tonight 11/22/25 with both of there Bartenders at Village Inn!

Hey Brian, I’m not sure is going on with Candy & Sara but this is ridiculous but I am a frequent paying customer that comes in Village inn at least two times a week and pay for food & drinks. When I’m there & Candy bartends without Sara being around she’s super nice & super friendly with everyone sitting at the bar. My drink prices are always the same & consistent $8.75. Then when she’s there working with Sara she charges me almost $13 per drink. Then when Sara is working by herself she’s act really mean & really snappy & short with me & she be over charging me for my drinks. She charged me almost $22.00 for one drink & it’s the same drink that I get ALL of the time when I come. Me being a paying customer I have recently started taking pictures of my receipts of all the different charges from both Sara & Candy showing all the different prices that they have charged me over the last 1 month & 1/2 & I have saved proof of their inconsistent charges! I don’t understanding how a business can do this to a customer that comes to their establishment all the time to spend their money. I have always had a good time coming to VI. But I just don’t understand what’s their problem. Sometimes I wonder am I the only one experiencing this issue with their staff??
Tonight I had an whole issue with one of their bartenders “Candy” she was yelling & screaming at me and beating her hand on the bar like I’ve done something personal to her. All I asked her about was why is my drinks prices are always different & she got mad at me for questioning her!

Another thing happened when I got there all I asked Candy was are the tables that we reserved be ready soon? Because they was not available to us when we got there because it was a group of ppl sitting there. She got all mad & snippy with me & was being disrespectful. I guess Candy had a whole attitude with me when I order my drink tonight she charged me almost $13 for my drink that she usually charges me only $8.75 for it. I feel just because had an attitude with me she charged me more money for the same exact drink that I always order and it’s is not right & not fare.
I had my husband take my drink back to her because she didn’t even make it right & I feel like that was on purpose.
Bottom line Candy went OFF on me in-front of your customers sitting at the bar that was totally uncalled for & very embarrassing.

I do have some prior receipts of my drinks that I have purchased & most of them are $8.75. It’s seems if they having a bad day they charge me more for the same exact drink! This is so crazy to me. What happened to good customer service these days?!? They love to play the victim like we did something to them!!! Well I’m here to voice my experience publicly & if you have any questions feel free to contact me personally!

Note: The worst part of it all is my husband played in the live band tonight & I couldn’t even enjoy him or the band because I was so upset I went & sat in my car for a good while before I went back inside. By that time live band was almost over !

Thanks for your time
Rashell

Sorry for any typos I’m very tired & have a major headache from all of this tonight!!!

Sarah is always the best server. We had the traditional crust, super supreme pizza. It was delicious with Leftovers. The side salads were huge. One side salad could have worked for the both of us unless you’re very hungry. I took mine home. Village Inn Pizza is a classic. We’ve been coming for years and have never been disappointed.

We LOVE Village Inn. The food, atmosphere and service are everything I could ask for. Sarah is the absolute best bartender and server I have ever had in my life. She makes every dining experience that much better. We always keep coming back for more. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been wanting to try this place and was finally able to on my lunch break one day. They had a special for a small pizza and salad for $10 so I decided to check it out. Usually a special like that is a 1 topping pizza, but u actually get 3 toppings on it. The dough is very light and flaky, almost like the pizza is baked on a crescent. Although an extra salad is $5, half the price of the pizza and a salad special, it was still worth it. When ordering that special and sharing with someone, I think the second salad should be discounted. If u are looking for a good pizza, I would definitely recommend this place!

We had a party of 10 and they put a table together for us right away. Sarah, our server, was so fun and just made our night! She took care of everything and has such a fun personality. We will be visiting her again for sure!

My husband gigs there once a month with the Soultry Collection Jazz Band. This place is really nice and the staff, for the most part, are really nice and good.

The Chicago deep dish is about as thick as a normal pizza. Sauce is bland. Crust is like biscuit crust and dry. Comes out not very hot so my guess is dough is frozen inside the pan. We got double cheese and pepperoni and there is no way the average person would say either was in large supply. Beer selection was normal but nothing spectacular or different. Originally I was thinking it was curated a bit but I doubt it. I seen their Mexican and I wouldn’t bother.

We have dined in and ordered out from here on a couple of occasions. The food is average and the pizza is average. We absolutely love the flavored hand tossed crust and the cheese bread though! They also have good appetizers, good specials, and good subs! Their basic menu prices are a bit expensive so watch for coupons and food specials! They have a daily express lunch for $5 and a special each evening.
