Nearly didn’t go because village in was always horrible with the food and service. Got right in after a short 15 minute wait. Service was quick and the server was very nice. Was very surprised at the speed, efficiency and pleasentness of the service, and the food was pretty good. Usually small servings but was healthy servings. I may just revisit since I was totally surprised how they have become better.

Food was good. For take out, the food was warm by the time it arrived to the destination. Lobby was silent, no one was in. Employee came out around 3-5 minutes after entering. Overall the food was delicious! Customer service was good, just the absence of an employee for the duration.

Had a wonderful breakfast here with my dad! The food was spot on, especially the chicken-fried steak and the huevos rancheros. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was tidy and inviting. It’s clearly a well-kept spot, and we really enjoyed our visit.

I got the turkey bacon avocado sandwich with the fries, they were so Delicious, I feel like I haven’t had fries this good in a while. Cinnamon roll pancakes were perfectly sweet and very big we split a stack between 3 people! Also, I love the atmosphere it feels so cozy! will be back!

I’ve loved village inn most out of all the diners I’ve been to. Walked in a few hours before close and saw it was empty, which made me sad, so I was planning on tipping big. The customer service was poor, seems like everyone there hated their lives and couldn’t even pretend to be nice. Our order was messed up but we didn’t ask for a remake because it only cost us $4 extra. We let the hostess know at the end and she was sweet to give us a $2 discount but it overall was not a great experience.

Phillip was our waiter. He was great and gave great service. I even left a 20% tip would have done custom had I been able to afford more. Ill be asking for him everytime I come in.

I stopped by for breakfast today because I happened to be in the neighborhood. I was greeted promptly and courteously seated and was given menus. The server came out quickly and asked my drink preference. A short time later he came back with my water and by that time I was ready to order.
I ordered corned beef hash eggs over easy with the three pancakes side. The food came out in a reasonably decent amount of time.
Now for the food, the portion size was decent for the hash the hash browns looked like a decent amount and the pancakes looked pretty good.
The potatoes were uncooked, the top pancake was burnt on the bottom making the pancakes taste like burnt pancakes. Leaving the dark on aside the other two weren’t bad. The over easy eggs were more like hard yolk eggs on the bottom of the eggs, so that is one more reason not to eat hire. So as far as a decent breakfast is concerned, for $15+ for a meal that had uncooked potatoes (how do you do that?) a burnt pancake I will have to pick another place for my breakfast going forward. Now for the service, I only had water with my meal which turned out to be e a good thing, I literally had to get up and find my server who was in the back and ask for more water. The only time I saw him was when I ordered, when he dropped off my food and when I had to find him for a refill. For sure I’ll find another breakfast spot. I’m not in the habit of leaving low ratings on my reviews, but, the food and service left a lot to be desired. The only reason that I didn’t leave a one star review was because of the portion size. Ratings are dependent upon the entire experience and I was sorely disappointed.

My son and I stopped here on our way home. We were quickly seated and attended to. We ordered our food and the waitress was very friendly and humorous. Our food was quickly prepared and served to us. It looked and tasted hot, fresh, and delicious! The waitress took care to check on us several times, so we were very impressed with the service and will return soon. Thank you!
