Menu serving standard American food with decent drink options… but it was difficult to get excited about any particular dish? Maybe they need prettier pictures or sexier descriptions.
After some deliberation, ordered a pasta with wine sauce. Friends got pizza and burger. Pasta was soupy, noodles a bit firm, flavors were a bit too simple for what I was expecting (which to be fair, could have been too much).
Also came here for a happy hour with coworkers – drinks & service definitely brings up the rating.
The place was pretty full. We managed to find two seats at the bar. There were two bartenders. They were busy and it took a minute to get drinks ordered but it wasn’t too long. We had side salads and shared a seafood pasta dish. The pasta was supposed to come with bread but initially it didn’t come out with it, we had to ask. We had requested for the kitchen to split the meal for us so they maybe were thrown off or the bartenders just forgot to grab the bread. It wasn’t a big deal. The salad and the pasta were both pretty good.
The bartenders, like I said, were busy but they were friendly.
The atmosphere was easygoing and was like a sports bar, or if you have ever been to a PJ Whelihans – it reminded me of that.
The prices were similar to most other places we have gone.
This was a good meal for us and an easy stop on our drive.
The food:
The spinach artichoke dip was incredible. Freshly made, delicious, cheese. Came with pita toast and chips. The burger was also delish! Flavorful, and juicy. Now, i am not a salad person, but the goat cheese salad has me considering this, lol.
The service:
Our server Cynthia was spectacular! She knew the menu in and out and after a few questions was able to recommend the fabulous spread we had. She was fast, attentive, great personality just made us feel at home.
The atmosphere:
Beautiful tap house (I’m glad I wasn’t driving) warm and inviting.
Definitely need to go there again. 🙂
Mushroom burger felt like it was lacking something but the garlic aioli was a savior for it.
Sweet potato fries great and ranch felt homemade and delicious!
Would go back again to try the chicken and waffles!
