We stopped for lunch and had hamburgers. We both had the cheeseburger which actually came out with two patties, which surprised us. It was really really good. The french fries were awesome. The waitress that day was very very busy and yet always had time for our table. And then we stopped in another day for breakfast. We had a short wait and we were both very hungry. Our food came out really fast considering that the place was packed. Unfortunately our food was cold with a few warm spots. And even though it was cold you could taste the flavor it was really good. And we ate everything because we were so hungry. This restaurant is very clean and everyone working there are extremely nice. We will be back. Everyone has an off day. Enjoy

At first I was not crazy about stopping at a chain place for Breakfast on vacation, but there were limited local business options for breakfast, we had limited time, and wanted something that was not fast food. Service here was great (seams to be typical in CO), and food was also great. The dinning room was also very quite and we were some of the only ones in there. Would stop by again if in the area.

We were here for an appointment and needed to eat before going. This VI had a wonderful breakfast. I had a waffle and my husband had a Denver omelet. Both were delicious. The service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this VI.

I was in Canyon City for a professional meeting and decided to have lunch at the village Inn. I ordered a turkey bacon avocado sandwich, which was great. The waitress asked me what side I would like, I told her french fries. On the menu at states that french fries are included with the purchase but on my receipt I was charged three dollars for the french fries. I didn’t make a fuss about it and paid the three dollars. I feel if something says it’s included with the meal you shouldn’t be charged for it and if it’s not included with the meal you should be told.

I love this place the food, the service, the people, even the guy I see outside once in a while with his white dog! I went in to get my togo order the ladies were very helped and even picked up a pie. On my way out I was having problems getting into my truck and this man with his white dog popped out and asked if I needed some help. If it wasn’t for him I would have had to re-order all of my food again! I gave him some money for helping me out. Very polite gentleman and I love his dog! I think it’s name was marshmallow? 5 stars for food, service and atmosphere! You haven’t seen the last of me!

My husband & I had breakfast here & the food was soo good! It took a minute to get seated but once we were seated everything went great.
I had the biscuit & gravy. My husband had the Rio Grande Skillet.

First time for me second for wife. She wasn’t impressed the first time but we tried it and their triple burger was delicious. The onion rings were tasty I think panko breaded. The blue cheese dressing was great in the side salad and the waitress was great and attentive. We shall return to try other things on the menu.

1. Server was nice. Took our order and brought it out. She never stopped by to check on us. We both ran out of drinks. We waited 10 minutes to get our check, and I had to get her attention to bring it to me. And, no “thanks for coming in”, just cash or card.
2. Person at the register was less than friendly.
Portion size was OK, but man the hash browns had a bad aftertaste. The sausage patties were probably the most bland ones I’ve had in my life.
