Not worth the money, 14.99 for a burrito that is the size of taco bell taco. The ground meat inside looks like dog food and tastes equally as bad, took one bite and didn’t eat anymore. Left and drove to “DON RAMONS” in Mayville, which I have been to now 4 times now and no complaints. I had a burrito there that was $18 and it was well well well worth it. Paying $3 more for food and getting what I wanted and was paying for definitely made it worth driving 25 minutes away from this establishment.

I went on a lunch date with my girlfriends today because we wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant we’d all been craving. We were really excited, but the experience quickly went downhill.
From the start, our waitress seemed annoyed with us while ordering. Our order came out wrong multiple times, even though we repeated ourselves clearly. We also had to keep asking for things we had already requested when she first took our order. Despite this, she only checked on us a couple of times before we actually saw her leave the restaurant and drive off—while she was still supposed to be waiting on our table.
We ended up flagging down other staff just to get what we needed. Thankfully, one gentleman stepped in and was incredibly kind and attentive, picking up the slack. He honestly saved the experience.
The food itself was decent, but the service was terrible until this gentleman stepped up. It felt like our waitress was more focused on other tables than ours, and because of her, I wouldn’t come back. The only bright spot was the excellent service we received from the gentleman who helped us. Unfortunately, I did not get his name.

Been a customer for almost a decade. Many restaurants don’t make it past 4 years around here, so this one truely is great. Authentic dishes ,and drinks. Clean environment. Upbeat vibe. Just a great place to get immersed in the cultural murals, music in the background, inviting staff, bite to eat.

I have NEVER, EVER, been treated so rudely in all of my 55 years of life!! And, I would never, ever, even consider…treating anyone else (especially a minority, or otherwise challenged, or needy person in any way), anywhere near as rudely, myself!

But, I never go anywhere anymore, that my God doesn’t use me, to either teach me, to teach someone else, or to enable me to “trade my talents” with someone else, mutually, at the same time.

So, when I saw and heard what was happening there, before my own two eyes, with two of the male employees’ reactions toward me; I knew that it was all planned and allowed by my Heavenly Father; though their words and actions hurt me very deeply inside my heart and soul.

And that He desired to use me to teach them the inappropriateness, and dispicable use of judging someone else (me) by his or her outward appearance (mine), and harshly reacting to them very unkindly, supposedly to “teach them (me) a lesson.” EVEN, if they were right. Rude, unthinking, unfeeling service is the fastest way to close down a business in America. You have been officially forewarned by God…

Because what they didn’t know, was that I am a mental health patient who gained almost all of my weight recently, because of a new, unfamiliar, medicine that my doctor had perscribed for me, that I was required to be on for months.

Nor did they know, that I am a very close friend and blood-bought daughter of my God, who is fully trusted by Him to teach His Son’s Words and Ways to others. But along with that privilege, also comes great responsibility. How well I know that to be true.

And so, I am acutely aware already, and have been for some time, that my weight is not an acceptable witness for Jesus. And that I am required by my Father to lose all of my excess weight in the year ahead.

But He has fully promised and assured me, that I will not have to do it alone, but that He will be glad to help me, if I am faithful doing my part: by doing what I can do, and never failing to come to Him for all of the help that I will need. And I fully trust Him to be true to His promises to me.

Please carefully consider, then, in the coming days, that EVERYONE has a personal story to tell, and things are almost NEVER what they seem to be on the surface. Which is WHY Jesus stood firmly against those who refused to walk circumspectly, or to walk daily in the fear and love of God.

My husband and I have been going here for years. Suddenly, say the last 3 or 4 months, it’s gone down hill. Food isn’t as good, service has gone way down and wait times, just yeah. This was our favorite place to go and we don’t understand what happened. We just went Friday (10/24) , service was horrendous, food was terrible.Only ones seated on one side of restaurant, took forever to get chips and salsa, then another 15 minutes to be asked for what we wanted to drink and took our order..Then we waited, the side filled up with customers, they were served ,got their food and some even finished and left..And we sat, finally hubby went up and asked and stated we were gonna leave..They begged us to stay and we waited.Food came after 40 minutes. Not what I wanted, but hey I’ll eat it. His order was way overcooked. He ate,I took the rest of mine home and threw it away..He’s been sick since.
We love this restaurant, always friendly and food was awesome, but something has changed. My husband has said we will not return, which is sad

We go to La Tapatia a couple times a month. The service is great and we love the food. We’ve lived in BD for over 5 years and we’ve never had a bad experience. It’s my favorite restaurant in town.

The food very bad. Ordered burrito, taco, chimichanga and Tossed salad. The tossed salad was some taco toppings with no dressing. The beef in the taco and chimichanga was a paste consistency, pretty sure not real beef. The service was rude to us while chatting away with customers who spoke Spanish. Very unpleasant experience.
