REGAN was AMAZING From the moment we walked in, the service was on point. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. You can tell she genuinely cares about customers. Love the service at Village Idiot Pizza—great vibes, great food, and even better staff. I’ll definitely be back!

In from out of town was so excited to try Village Idiot.
Fries were amazing. Pizza disgusting. It was so thin it stuck to the box and wasnt fully cooked so the cheese so it wasnt even melted. So disappointed. Definitely not worth 20 dollars for a 12 inch extra cheese and half pepperoni.

Craving pizza before a meeting in Five Points–I was really worried from recent reviews about low food quality, but I braved it anyway. Pleasantly surprised! Service was slow, but I’m grateful our server helped us identify a special that helped us split a customel 3-topping pizza. Crust was thick, pizza was HOT out of the oven, and the warm, garlicky tomato sauce really hit the spot for me.

Village Idiot is a fun little pizza place! The service isn’t always great, the drinks aren’t made particularly strong, and the appetizers are a little pricey compared to what they are. Also, sometimes the music is turned up way too loudly, making it difficult to converse with your friends.

Nevertheless, Village Idiot is a fun, old-school place where you can drop in and get a slice of pizza in a convenient amount of time.

Going to a pizza joint after a football game is always a must for me. The Village Idiot was recommended by the locals and is apparently THE USC bar spot for games. We really enjoyed our time there as they had beer specials and pizza was delicious. I will say the Buffalo Chicken was recommended and was subpar IMO BUT The Barnyard was fantastic and made up for the Buffalo. Highly recommend if you are looking for a local pizza joint!

Well, it was a long day and I just wanted to relax, so I thought I’d order pizza. Called to make the order and confirmed the location was across the river from Cayce. Got to the Whaley location, and yea, wrong location. Disappointed, I drive across town another 15 minutes to the Devine location, the guy at the register continues to eat, ignoring me, until a coworker gets his attention. Tell him I’m there for my pizza… and my order is nowhere to be found. Hasn’t even been entered in the computer. Frustrated, I just left rather than waiting another 20 minutes on top of the 30 minutes round trip out of my way that I had intended. So disappointing.

A unique pizza spot with great pizza! The pizza we ordered wasnt greasy or lacking of flavor. It was rightly balanced. Same can be said for the garlic knots! They offer a lot of options for customizing your pizza as well. The interior is nice, with an entrance that hides just how cool the inside looks. It should be noted that this place is not handicap accessible with the only entrance being the staircase.

Came here on a rainy Friday afternoon for lunch. It wasn’t that crowded as there was only two other tables. The server was prompt and got our drink requests as soon as we sat down. She was also waiting on the other tables as well as the bar. The drinks took a little while to serve as she was a little busy running around. Which is understandable. The food was good. They have a lunch deal for two slices of pizza with two toppings. Reasonably priced. This is not gourmet pizza but it is good pizza if you are craving a slice or two. The beer selection was decent. They also serve mimosas as well as manmosas. I would recommend this place if you are craving pizza and are in 5 points.

Village idiot used to have the best pizza in Columbia but it has been on a steady decline the past year. Every pizza I get is worse than the last with this pizza today tasting like I bought it from a gas station in a rural town with a population under 1000. I hope they can fix whatever the hell is going on.

Friend and I came here on a Wednesday and ordered the Chicken Hibachi and Barnyard pizzas. They did not disappoint. The chicken hibachi was flavorful and was really unique with the sweeter, tangy yum yum sauce balancing the strong teriyaki base, and the pizzas was thin, crispy and was quality all the way around (I recommend adding some parmesan that is provided at the table – make it even better). The barnyard, on the other hand, was a different type of pizza. Its crust was a little thicker and was still crispy, and the plethora of meats on it were individually very good. The red base/tomato base worked well with this pizza, a more traditional pizza (pairs well with extra parmesan and a little garlic powder). The only vies I really had with this place were that the chicken hibachi was lacking in the chicken department and the barnyard didn’t have enough sausage on it. I should highlight how impressed I was with the service and how fast our order came out. Big pluses.
