This place has passion and love in the food. It’s truly chef prepared. Fresh and delicious, I would eat here every night. The Mushroom crostini’s and pasta and cod and mac n cheese were superb! I stayed at The Jefferson inn which is a minute from here and was pleasantly surprised to discover this excellent restaurant! The ambiance was beautiful! Get a seat by the fireplace for a truly cozy experience!

Genuinely a 5 across the board. My girlfriend and I went here for our 1 year anniversary. Our server was attentive but also left us to enjoy each other’s company, the building is beautifully set up, and the food was incredible. I am a chef by trade and the Steak Frites I got this evening were so on point that I questioned my own ability to do my job. The sweet potato fries had the perfect amount of hot honey to accent the natural flavor rather than overpower it and the Brussels were crispy and brimming with flavor as well. We were so impressed by our meals we have actually joked about returning tomorrow to try more of the menu.

We golfed and had lunch, it was amazing !! Matt, our bartender was friendly and wonderful. The food was AMAZING! Forager’s Crostini is to write home about. The views are fantastic and the American flag hanging from the fireplace is gorgeous. A+ in my opinion

Just returned back home to Madison WI from a 10-day Northeast vacation. We were lucky enough to find this restaurant during our travels (and it was open Monday night). Everything from the ambience, service and food were top-notch. I enjoyed the lamb shank and desserts. Great location for sunset photos.

Went for dinner last night and had a great meal. Everything was flavorful, drinks are great and dessert too. NY strip was cooked perfectly medium. Have had lunch here as well multiple times and haven’t been disappointed.
