Who’s An Idiot? We’ve got four locations for everyone. Sports fans can catch games on our many TVs while enjoying cold beers, and families can have a great meal together away from home. Kids under 12 eat free Mon-Thurs, 3-7pm – you can’t beat that! Friends can party with live music, while foodies will love our rotating menu and awesome deals. On weekends, our DJs spin the latest hits that keep the energy high. Our fun staff will take care of you and make sure you’re having a great time.

Went Saturday night before the Ryder Cup – great place, good tv’s (had a little trouble getting college football on for us Southerners). Great service, great food. Buffalo chicken dip was fantastic, as was the pretzel! Reuben as well…great place, we’ll be back.

Made a reservation on line a week before , and long story short apparently so did everyone else. No seating 120 min wait minimum and the answer at the door was , “we didn’t look at those ” turned away tons of people due to lack of seating … horrible experience

Revisited our first date place. It wasn’t as good as the first time, but nothing ever is lol. The food is very good and the staff is so nice. We even used our Habitat for Humanity beer card to get some nice Montauk Juicy IPA on tap. The complaint was the time. We waited 45 minutes for our food. Chicken wrap and a Veggie panini. Weird. People came after us and ate before us. Something went wrong. Other than that, it was good. I had to take a star off of service for it. Maybe we will revisit again in the future and try for the hat trick.

So figured I’d give it a try.
So,
The cheesesteak I got, was super good! Messy, but.. that’s to be expected.
But, one thing I disliked, is that I paid 50¢ extra for raw onions added to it, no biggie.
Only to open it up, and see damn near a whole onion placed on the side of it, chopped up… like. What? Lmao. That’s just lazy man.
Got a side order of mozzarella sticks,
And they’re…. Not good.
The sauce is so watery, and the overall taste is just salty.
It tastes processed, and just not very fresh.
Can’t say I’m ordering here again, but maybe this will help them understand what to fix?

I had the luck of going to the Oakdale location of T.V.I., I’ve been to the other locations, and was glad I did. This was after we were intending on thing to another pub in the area. They were full, when I searched the area for a place to eat, I saw T.V.I. pub was right up the road (I wasn’t aware of this before), that was where we headed.
I went into the pub to see if there was an open table and to my luck, there was 1 in the back. (After the fact, I saw an outside area that we edited through, which I will say was warm)
We were 3 and a baby, the staff were very accommodating. Our waitress Liz came over and I could see we hit the jackpot with Liz. She was on fire and in total control of the table and her area!
Liz got us our beers fast, 2 pumpkins and an IPA! Start the fun! We started with the Bavarian pretzel, which was hot, soft, buttery and delicious. Also some mustard and “Bang” over the top! We also had the grilled quesadias which was overstuffed with chicken…..youza, and the ultimately delicious, 8 wings with the Parmigiano garlic……oh boy, kiss me now! And of course, the yum yum eat em up Mac-N-Cheese!
For dinner, we ordered the Ahi tuna tacos, 3 stuffed with tuna and cabbage for some crunch! Since they were out of ribs 🙁 ☹ I ordered something different. I got the grilled cheese with fries. 🙂 ! And Liz (wei was on fire now!), suggested adding some bacon ! Unbelievable, the grilled cheese was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! We also ordered a turkey provolone and arugula pannini, which was a special.
Sum it up, T.V.I. but the mark in every area and Liz was the conductor of this amazing masterpiece, and of course, kudos to the kitchen for their masterpieces as well.

The village idiot makes some pretty good food, assuming they decided to clean their grills. I would personally avoid their burgers as they usually got that dirty grill taste, but otherwise are cooked and made pretty well. The rest of their menu is otherwise pretty good but at the end of the day it’s bar food. Went in to pickup food and I couldn’t see the people at the pickup lane, the two girls were literally laying on the floor behind the counter on their phone despite the place being pretty packed. Wasn’t mad it was pretty funny, otherwise the atmosphere and bar are excellent.
