Locally owned for 50 years! I pass through Del Way Gap a few times a year. Stopping here is a Must! Best apple pies Ever! Along with homemade chicken pot pie and sooo much more….and..they ship!

This place is so sweet! The ladies who run it are so darling and told us they’ve been running the joint for 49 years. Some of the best fruit pies I’ve ever had, and my friends got cider donuts and shepherds pie.

They have counter service food but heads up that there’s nowhere to sit inside, so only takeaway is feasible during the winter.

Delicious chicken pot pie that was light, tender and flavorful without being nearly as salty as one would expect. The “apple caramel cloud”was similarly amazing and big enough to split between two people. Though that didn’t stop us from also buying the strawberry version too, for science.

Perfect pull off the highway spot!

The pot pies were awesome. So much great food. All different jams and fudged.

We are coming back for sure.

We visited on a Saturday in late June 2025 for lunch. We were about to do a kayak excursion with the Edge of Wood Outfitters just across the street and needed some food. We saw that they had some pot pies for sale here and the reviews online looked pretty good. When we stopped by we were overwhelmed by all the items in here. Everything looked SOO good! We knew we had to come back after our trip to get snacks/desserts.

We ordered:
– Turkey Pot Pie
– Chicken Pot Pie
– Shepherds Pot Pie
– Chicken Fingers and Fries

These were so hot and all tasted amazing! I don’t know if I could pick a favorite you just couldn’t go wrong. They also sell them frozen too but we were on a road trip and there was no way we could keep them frozen for that long.

We came back after our kayaking excursion and ordered:
– Strawberry Cloud (my wife’s favorite)
– Caramel Apple Cloud (my favorite)
– Carrot Cake Tower (amazing carrot cake, would order again)
– Key lime Square (very good flavor, would order again)
– Blueberry Turnover (fresh whole blue berries, would order again)
– Blueberry Lemon Cookie Sandwich (my favorite)
– Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Sandwich (kid’s favorite)
– Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Sandwich (wife favorite)

All the desserts were just amazing. We would 100% come back here again and possible go a little out of way as well just to hit this place up. We wanted to buy almost everything in the store but my wallet just couldn’t do it. I don’t think you can really go wrong with anything here. I’d recommend this place to all my family and friends. Especially if you’re doing a water adventure with the outfitter across the street, this is a no brainer. The staff here is also super nice, patient, understanding and happy to help us out in making decisions as non-locals/tourists.

Just what you want from a farm stand type place. Lots of jarred things, pies, and freshly made sandwiches. The sandwiches are huge, piled onto beautiful, soft, white country bread. The apple pie is quite literally one of the best pies I’ve ever had, crust and all. If you leave without one, you are making a critical error. Last great thing: the prices are fantastic!

Every year my friends and I golf at Shawnee country club. Every year we average buying 20 chicken pot pies from the village farmer. When you walk in you are greeted with a friendly hello and smile. Hundreds of fresh baked goods. Hard to walk out with just the pot pies. So we dont. We get pies and pastries to eat on the way home. Nice job village farmer. See you next year.

The Atmosphere was beautiful. The service we received was spectacular. The food is absolutely exquisite. Fresh from the farm directly to you. I ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy for breakfast. I have tried this breakfast throughout the North East. When the plates of food came they were artfully plated. This was by far the best biscuits and Gravy I have ever had.
I would highly recommend to anyone to eat here. This should be the standard example for places to receive 5 stars.

If you are here in Poconos and looking for place to get local produce/jams/ dessert or a hot sandwich / coffee ? this can be a good option. I visited this place in November and it was a good experience.
They have a good collection of jams, honey, pies, freshly baked desserts and lot more if you are looking for a quick bite.

The staff were super nice and helped with the selection. I tried their egg sandwich and it was delicious, the bread was freshly baked and tasted real good. I also tried their strawberry cloud in dessert and it had really fresh filling of strawberry jam and cream.

The place has ample parking spots and restrooms were located outside. Limited seating was available outside. The place was accessible as it was on first floor.
