First time here and definitely liked it. Dean’s is a quaint little restaurant that only accepts cash. The food is fresh…made just as you would at home except here they cook and do the dishes while you relax. It does take a little longer to get your order but that is a small price for a home cooked meal.

The staff were polite but the whole experience made me discouraged to ever return. We ordered and waited almost an hour for the food (which I understand things happen) but while we waited we were never asked if we wanted our waters refilled. The food was very mediocre at best. The waitress lost our original meal ticket of what we ordered and we had to remind them what we ordered. While we were sitting some of the staff that could have came around to the tables to ask people if they wanted refills of their water were sitting down talking with each other instead. No one stopped by to ask us how the food was or how we were doing. This just isn’t good business for paying customers. 1 star review and do not recommend coming here!

1st time here despite it being in my general area. Invited by my friend who ended up treating me & her daughter to bfast.
We were lucky arrived around 1000am Sunday before it got even busier. We were acknowledged by the server so didnt need to write names in wait list book.
Beverage service was prompt & accurate
Our server is forgot her name but she has twin girls

As good it gets. Homey (literally a restaurant in a former residence), value to price off the charts, great service with awesome and charming waitresses. 11/10 would tell you to go here anytime you need to believe in the power of small town America/ authenticity.
Cheers!

What the heck happened to this place. Used to love it. Now it’s trash. Can’t even eat this food. Don’t keep up on coffee refills, used to be worth the wait, not anymore. I guess it’s under new ownership… Pancake literally suck to the plate. Bacon is super thin now, omelet is literally sitting in a pool of greese. They don’t know the menu and give you the wrong food.
My wife had ham in her vegetarian omelet … Good thing she’s not actually a vegetarian lol
Took over an hour to get food that they then had to remake my pancakes
We will not be back. This sucks.

The server was kind and personable. He skillfully carried 6 plates to the table next to us with no tray. The food was priced well and was delicious. Always a treat! ***No debit or credit accepted***

The service was just okay. Our server was a bit vulgar at times, which made the experience uncomfortable. We ordered blueberry pancakes, but they were undercooked—raw batter was clearly visible on the bottom.
Despite being the only table ordering food at the time, it still took about 40 minutes for our meal to arrive. We got there around 1:30 PM, and the restaurant closes at 2:30 PM, so the delay was surprising.
At the end, we tried to hand the tip directly to our server, but she was busy texting behind the counter and didn’t acknowledge us. Even when my fiancé asked her something, she remained on her phone and didn’t respond.
The service left much to be desired.

We haven’t been here for many years and thought it was worth a try. We were surprised the food was better than we remembered it. The cook did a terrific job on the pork gravey smothering my chicken fried steak. This meal was the best! It came with three eggs and two chicken fried steaks hash browns and toast. I highly recommend.

If you want an old school diner that only accepts cash and is stuck in time, this is the place for you. Service was nice, big portions and diner style black coffee. Came here for breakfast, my omelette was alright, my bf did not like the pancakes though, it was just “ordinary”. But other than that, it was a good experience.

Had an excellent bacon cheeseburger with really good fries. One of the better ones I’ve had in ages I would certainly try Dean’s Homestyle Cafe again. Next time I’ll have breakfast, I urge everyone to support your local mom and pop establishments!!!!
