Honestly don’t understand the hype around this place… I’ve gone twice. The first time, there was a brown hair in my deluxe burger, and it wasn’t mine as my hair is black. My boyfriend got the pastrami sandwich and said it lacked flavor. The fries though, are absolutely delicious AND fresh. I decided to give them another chance today and got the teriyaki hot sandwich. It also lacked seasoning or taste in general and was soggy after my 10 minute drive home… The fries again though, were delicious. But overall, this place is extremely pricey for the food quality.

First time here and was shocked that this place has a bathroom and it’s clean and spacious.
When I ordered, Luis was patient with me when I asked him all kinds of questions and he provided awesome customer service.
I ordered the cheeseburger with grilled onions meal and substituted the fries for onion rings and also ordered the fried zucchini. Usually ranch at places like this is my favorite, however, when I dipped one fried zucchini in the house made dressing and ate it and it blew my mind because it tasted so good and also had to wait a little bit from eating the zucchini because it was still hot and fresh that I burned my mouth. The house made dressing tasted like a cross between tartar sauce and ranch. Super delicious amd definitely my favorite now!
When I bit into the burger it took me to a different place – a happy place. Everything on the cheeseburger with grilled red onions tasted clean and fresh. Something I’ve never tasted before. The onion rings were crispy and good and it tasted better dipped in the house made dressing.
This is now one of my favorite burger spots to eat at and the price is worth it. Highly recommend this place.

I used to love this place, the food never disappoints, but the service is horrible! Poor customer service! There’s a young Asian girl who is super rude on multiple occasions. Constantly rolling eyes and basically throws the food without saying anything. I hope management sees this so they can handle it accordingly. Unfortunately they have lost my business

Solid no frills burger. Fries are good. Milkshake was thick. Service was efficient and friendly. Combo (burger, fries and a drink) starts at about $18 and goes up from there.

We came here for chili cheese fries and a banana shake. It was nice to eat outside with the beautiful weather. The fries were crispy even when covered with chili. The chili tasted great, and I got it without onions. The banana shake had a good consistency.

Since the late 1950s.. I remember coming here in the 70s as a small child. I would often go there whenever I visited my late aunt & uncle McCoy who lived in the Tahoe Park area. On this occasion I called in my order..two 2 piece Fish with Fries, extra tartar sauce, malt vinegar, catsup, salt & pepper. Along with a Kiwi Slushy. The food was fresh & ready when I arrived. The customer service was very professional & great. The fish was cooked to perfection nice & flaky with just the right amount of crispiness & quite delicious. The fries were good but could’ve been a little bit more crispy ( crinkle cut would’ve paired better with the fish). The Slushy was very good. The only setback was that the tartar sauce was mediocre & could use a little sweet pickle relish & dill mixed in it to enhance the flavor. I also recommended the variety of hamburgers, the tacos, burritos, ice cream, shakes, ect..to try. Since since everything is pretty much delicious! The prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was great, however the girl that helped us was very very rude and forgot not only two of our drinks, but also to give us curly fries. When I called she had a bad attitude. Definitely love the village for food however our experience with that specific worker was not good

Little pricey BUT substantial sized burgers so it’s worth it! And yes, definitely better then any fast food places! This was drive thru order or order in front /outside eating. The 2 Double cheeseburgers and 3 kids cheeseburgers were awesome and very tasty. Yummy regular and curly fries. Very yummy vanilla malt shakes. I gave it 3 stars because the ranch dressing was very off and tasted more like mayo and tartar sauce. We went around 4pm and they were out of fried zucchini. But all around very pleased to have found this old school burger joint!
