I come here mainly for the Amritsari Kulchas and I swear they are next level. I’ve had kulchas in India and these are honestly just as good — maybe even better. That’s saying something. And today we tried their homemade fruit cream… wow. That thing is dangerous. So fresh, so creamy, perfectly sweet. Straight up heaven in a bowl.
Every time I come, the taste is exactly the same. No drop in quality. Always loaded with flavor and perfectly made.
Staff is always polite and chill, which makes the whole vibe even better.

THE best Indian restaurant in Surrey. I have been to this place so many times and they exceed my expectations every single time. Their food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. By fresh I mean you can taste that it has been freshly prepared in-house just for you. They have amazing flavours and variety of items on their menu. Their quality, quantity, and prices are unbeatable. Their kitchen team is surely very experienced and the servers are friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this place since I am certain that you won’t find anything similar across lower mainland.

We had a wonderful experience at Village Curry Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very well prepared. We tried the Methi Malai Paneer (Chef Special) and it was absolutely delicious, rich and creamy with a perfect balance of flavors. The staff were very friendly, polite, and attentive, making sure everything was comfortable during our visit. Overall, it was a great dining experience with amazing food and excellent hospitality, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys authentic Indian cuisine.

My partner and I came here for dinner last weekend. I was excited to try their thali and my partner ordered the butter chicken with rice and naan. We both enjoyed our food for the most part. I think if we were to come back I would try something else from the menu.

Dining at Village Curry was an absolute treat! The vegetarian starters — especially the Village Potli and Paneer Muksari Roll — completely blew me away. I’d never tried them before, and the flavors, presentation, and freshness were outstanding.
A special thank you to our wonderful server, Palak, for the warm and attentive service. Huge appreciation as well to the chef and kitchen staff for creating such delicious dishes. An all-round fantastic experience — highly recommended!

We stopped in on a whim, and were pleasantly surprised with the best Indian food we’ve ever had! We ordered the queen size meat platter, veggie biryani, and the traditional butter curry with mutton. The flavors were outstanding, the portions were good, and every piece of meat was incredibly juicy and tender. The restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent as well. We will definitely be eating here again 🙂

Came here as the restaurant name sounded familiar then we realized it was the Steveston location and they were the same restaurant. Inside the restaurant is spacious and clean. The waitress was friendly and accommodating as we wanted seating in the back.
They have various lunch specials from noon to 4pm so we ordered the Butter Curry Pack, Chicken Patiala Roll and Lahori Kabab Roll. O-M-G! The food was awesome and very tasty. It is such a good deal for $13 for these meals that included a pop can. My kid enjoyed the rice and naan to go with the butter chicken. Both my wife and I liked the butter curry but originally thought it was some type of soup … lol. The kabab was a bit salty for me but my wife liked it.
Overall the food experience was great and will be definitely coming back here again in the future.
