This is such a sweet spot! The food is delicious the service was phenomenal and I don’t use that word lightly. The restaurant itself is quaint and charming you can sit inside or outside. We definitely can’t wait to go back and try the lunch menu. They close at 2:00 p.m. so make sure you get there early. And this place is super popular so there can be long lines. One really cool thing they do though is when you’re standing in line they have a coffee service out there where you can grab yourself a free cup of coffee while you’re waiting in line. And the coffee is really really good

Great meal. Great service. Loved the hasbrowns and pancakes. My husband thought the Rueben was phenomenal (and he is a big meat guy). Cameron was an excellent server with a constant smile.

This place is the best! My favorites are the french toast and the reuben. We tend to eat outside with Dave, a staple there who handles the heaters and any other husband duties. Sue greets everyone there. Highly recommend.

Excellent place for a good breakfast. The pork chops and eggs are delicious and seasoned to perfection. Their pancakes and jelly’s are home made with chunks of the berry, they are so good. My 10 year old daughter stopped by for the first time, we are glad we did. We will visit this place regularly. Updated in 2022 and still an awesome spot. They now have a pozole dish that’s to die for. I highly recommend this spot.

We were invited here, it was busy, there was a wait. I was told the food was really good, priced well (affordable) but for me it was just ok, the taste. I got the chorizo burrito, in ingredients themselves were ok, but was like a layered burrito. I mean potato’s with chorizo, some egg, then the beans were in last bites. A lot of restaurants do to this, but why? The combination of ingredients is delicious, why are they so separated? In the end, it was like eating a been & cheese burrito. The chorizo is a spicy salty meat, and it did have good flavor, the potatoes could have used some of that salty seasoning. My sister loved her pork chops, my husband ate his so fast I forgot to take a photo. I did taste the pancakes, but for me they weren’t special, just regular alitttle chewy, a texture I’m not fond of in pancakes, and a hint was that my fork wasn’t cutting the pancake quickly & easily. The butter, I was unsure if it was margarine, I prefer real butter. I forget what my brother in law had, but I did try the toast. He said it was sourdough, but it had no sourdough flavor. It was buttered, maybe that took flavor if it was margarine? I tried my sisters coffee, it was served steaming hot, it looked good. However once I tasted, it was a little bitter, meaning they reheated or kept it too hot that it turned bitter. I was surprised that it was bitter, so many people and they didn’t have fresh coffee? I’d give it another try, maybe it was just me because there was a wait.

We had breakfast here today as a group of seven. We were seated promptly. Coffee and water were offered immediately. Our food was served hot and plentiful. All of us were very happy with our food. I would return here when in town again. The restaurant was clean and very nice.

Excellent family owned restaurant with really great food! I had corned beef hash with eggs and raisin toast. Well done. Everything was perfect. My eggs were over medium, perfectly cooked. Corned beef hash was home made and very good. Even the toast was done perfectly and well buttered with real butter! Jen, our waitress, was very friendly and attentive. We will be back soon to try some other dishes which I’m sure will be great!

Was looking for another great little breakfast place and definitely found it here at Village Café. Amazing, fresh chicken fried steak and eggs with very tasty country gravy. Generous portions, good prices, and very friendly team working here. Was the first time for me while I was back in my home territory visiting. Will definitely stop by again if I’m in the area.

I’ve eaten at this place a few times, and the food always feels like a warm hug. It’s truly a testament to the power of fresh ingredients and simple recipes. The flavors are so familiar, like dishes my grandma used to make. You can taste the love in every bite, and that’s what makes it so special.
