Great place to celebrate a birthday with family. We had a wonderful time; the food was delicious, and the service was excellent from the host to the waiter and chef. I highly recommend Musashi Japanese Steak Restaurant for its delicious food and friendly staff. Watching the chef cook at the table made it even more enjoyable. We will come back again.

The chef and food were awesome! Service leaves a little to be desired. The waitress was very nice, but did not come check on us after the drinks were delivered since we were trying to get something else. The lighting at some stations were a welcoming warm white, whereas the station we were seated at had a cool white light. We would still go back for the great food though!

Good place to have a live cooking meal. If you’ve visited one of this kind of restaurants, you’ll expect the same kind of routine. Anyway good food, little expensive, you pay for the show though.

Came here for supper. Ordered gyoza, two rolls, and the sashimi regular (15pc) entree.
The gyoza were fried perfectly.
The two rolls we got, Philadelphia roll and dance with tuna roll, were very good.
The sashimi regular entree was good. The fish was very fresh. There was one fish, I’m not sure what it was, but it was extremely fishy so we didn’t eat it.
The reasons I won’t be coming back are the following.
If you want water, you are required to pay for bottled water. They refused to serve tap water. Have never been to a place that outright refuses customers tap water.
12 out of their 20 signature rolls contain fake crab.
Their suggested tip is on top of tax, so 20% is closer to 22%. Not a fan of places that mislead consumers.

We went here on Super Bowl Sunday because in our house, that was our eldest’s birthday. Daniel and Malik were amazing. They made us feel special and even made balloon animals for our kids. The food was delicious, especially the salmon and chicken livers! We’re definitely coming back. If you like hibachi, come here ❤️

Good food but service can be slow. They should have cold mugs for drink whether beer or tea but always a warm glass instead. We’ve been often and will continue to visit when in the mood for this type of food and it is fresh and good.

We visited Musashi Japanese Steakhouse, located in Gainesville, Virginia.
This Japanese steakhouse features Hibachi cooktop cooking in front of guests and an extremely versed sushi menu. We have eaten here several times after discovering this restaurant more recently and have had an excellent dinner with either Hibachi or sushi. You really can’t go wrong here with what is on the menu.
Everything we’ve had has been very delightful and delicious, and the staff is very attentive and courteous.
On our last visit, I had the Hibachi scallop and fillet, steak fixed medium rare with the Hibachi stir fry vegetables and fried rice. We also had a couple of sushi rolls to share that came in a little wooden boat, much to my delight and surprise.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you like Japanese hibachi or sushi. Beware, though, that this restaurant really fills up around lunch and dinner time, and there might be a wait for seating.

Great meal a few nights ago for my youngest’s 14th birthday. The hostess was incredibly attentive, the chef was funny and very talented, and the food was great as it always is. The restaurant itself is centrally located and is always well-lit, clean, and comfortable.

Absolute art. The sushi chefs are talented with skills that surpass any other sushi restaurant I’ve been too. We had Vegas roll, dragon roll, volcano roll, and edamame. Great staff and welcome environment. Watching the hibachi chefs was also a blast. Total mouthgasms.
