Cafe Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently visited this cozy little cafe, and I have to say, the food and service were absolutely outstanding! I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu.

I ordered the western wrap, and it was fresh and packed with flavor. My mom tried the bacon, egg, cheese, and hash brown sandwich, and she couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was! The portion sizes are generous, which is always a bonus in my book.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist trying the coffee cake and pumpkin muffin, both of which were incredibly yummy — the perfect sweet ending to our meal.

What truly made our visit special were the two ladies behind the counter. They were so friendly and welcoming, and we ended up enjoying a delightful chat with them. It’s always a pleasure to find places like this that have a warm community feel.

Highly recommend this cafe for a delightful meal and an inviting atmosphere! We’ll definitely be back to try out more of their offerings!

We had a great experience with Village Cafe catering my son’s graduation party. The Italian, meatless & turkey wraps were delicious and salad was fresh. Rita, Anita, and Nick were all so accommodating and flexible, and the food was amazing. Overall a wonderful experience and I highly recommend.

This is a great local spot!! Great breakfast, local folks line the tables and a charm that is clearly only found in these small spots. The staff is warm and welcoming. They clearly live what they do as indidnt see any other than a smile. Reasonable parking and handicapped accessible. Very very happy to stop in when coming through!! Be back soon

Small restaurant full of regulars and friendly staff. The lunch was awesome. The pastrami on rye was the best and overstuffed. Tuna melt was great also. Great value too

Village Cafe is a humble spot with breakfast foods that will leave you satisfied. The parking lot is large, but the cafe not so much. When I ordered my food, a bunch of people were waiting in line, and half of the seats were already taken. I had a mild panic over how everybody would be able to sit down indoors. I know that there are customers who order to-go, but there also could’ve been a possibility that some wanted to sit down & eat, but felt compelled to order out because of the tight space.

That would be my only complaint, because everything else was very pleasant. They have a chalkboard above the cashier that lists all their items, but you can ask for a paper copy too. I had their two eggs & cheese sandwich with a sausage patty with bottled orange juice. The food was tasty, and I would eat here again. Now, if I’ll stay to eat is another story!

I have driven by numerous times, but my uncle came into town and suggested this place. Thought why not. Had no idea it was a place with breakfast all day and lunch. The menu has many options. Took me a minute to look at everything. We chose tuna melts and a roast beef sandwich . Nice Atmosphere. A good number of people came in and out. Clean and Atmosphere was diner like. The food was good. I’d come again and I have because I found out they have my favorite thing rice pudding. Brings me here everytime. Super yummy. Then of course you see all the delish items on the menu and can’t help to get something else.

After stopping at Sift Cafe, and cafeSol, we couldn’t get seating, so we stopped in Village Cafe, it was a wonderful surprise! My father had recommended this restaurant multiple times but this was my first time! It’s obviously a family owned and run restaurant because the young lady behind the counter was so accommodating and friendly. The food was wonderful and tasty!! Next time I’m in Connecticut it will be a must stop!

I have been a loyal patron of the Cafe for about five years now and I will tell you this hands-down, the best café in town. Everything is fresh. The portions are hearty. Baked goods and desserts off the charts. Breakfast plates off the charts breakfast sandwiches off the charts. And the newest addition to the menu, the cheeseburger deluxe is amazing . Includes lettuce, tomato, onion, American cheese, flatten beef patty, and if you even want it, you can get an egg on it and call it brunch. The fries are crispy. The coffee is hot, hot, hot and delicious and by far the most important thing are the people that work there and run the place. To me personally, They are family. There is no Wi-Fi but who needs it anyways instead, you get the pinnacle of the dining Experience where people get together to talk and foster a sense of community while receiving above and beyond customer service. Rita and Nick run the place like a well oiled machine w hearts of gold. Every morning when possible I look forward to seeing them and the staff to chat the small stuff the big stuff and get a positive boost to the day. Go for it and enjoy!
