We went to Village Baker for the first time and loved every bite! My husband and I split a hot ham and cheese sandwich and we split a Caesar salad. The portions are large and it was more than I could eat. Our friends got a chicken salad on rye (and I tasted the rye bread- it is not strong flavored, very delicious) and a salad that they split as well.
The bread are all made fresh and are absolutely delicious. The food was great, the place was very clean, it’s a walk up counter and there was plenty of seating while we ate our food. And the prices are great!
I look forward to returning!

This was my first time at the VB.
Service was outstanding!
I debated on getting some soup, so the lady helping me gave me a couple samples to try. That was so kind of her.
I ultimately went with a recommendation from one of the workers and got the club sandwich. They are huge And delicious!
The restaurant was very clean, even the bathrooms were very clean.
People in our group also got the pizza, salads, and other sandwiches. Everything was outstanding.

Soooo annoyed!!! I love Village Baker, in West Jordan anyways, never once had a problem even from this location until today! I got the Turkey Avocado on Sourdough, first the bread was not sourdough and second there was barely any turkey on it! I got the broccoli cheese soup, paid extra for the bread bowl and they send it with no room to even put the soup, maybe like a very little bit of it! I ordered the banana pudding, there is barely any pudding let alone any banana it it, it’s all cookie or bread, whatever the hell it is they put in it, so frustrated. I got my employee the turkey cranberry sandwich on white and she barely had any turkey as well, $50 for WHAT!!! I don’t even think they deserve 1 star!

The food was pretty good despite it being very expensive. 25 bucks a person is unusually high for only half a Sandwich. The portions were good, got the half sandwich half salad and was very full when I was done. There is almost no type of unique atmosphere, just a chow hall, but the vaulted ceilings madenit unique. The service was phenomenal, but never a fan of places that expect a tip for ordering at a counter, seating yourself and cleaning up yourself. I would go here again if they fix the overpriced food. #notipfornoservice

My family loves village baker. We’ve been going since it was just the one location and we were so excited to have one close to us. However, throughout the years, without fail more than not the order is wrong and/or missing items. For years it’s been an issue and I just don’t understand why this location is notorious for it. It’s extremely unfortunate because the food is great when it’s right! We even took a break from ordering because of it and decided to try again and sadly the order was once again wrong. Just really unfortunate with the cost of things these days.

If you like eggs salad sandwiches, you gotta have one here. Get it on the honey rye and you won’t be disappointed. When I visit Utah, I always grab one.

I’m just visiting. I’ve been here 4x’s in a two week span. The food is so fresh and the employees were nice. They do not have Turkey bacon (bummer). If ever in Utah again I’m certain to visit. This has become my favorite spot.

My experience here tonight was incredibly poor. I got the raspberry salad and went through the drive through. I should’ve inspected it before leaving the store. They used slimy spinach! I had to pick through the salad to get all the slimy rotten leaves out. And on top of that, when I was about half way through trying to pick leaves out, I found a dead bug in my salad. Salads should not be made with slimy leaves!!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and ended up getting soup for lunch to take home and of course a couple desserts since I could not decide from all the selection. Maria checked in on me while eating breakfast and provided me with great service and friendly conversation! I will be many this a weekly stop for sure!
