While my home was being renovated, we had no use of our kitchen. Needed some breakfast so came in for some bagels. The shop looked nice, fresh and well organized. The girl at the counter greeted me quickly. She was also polite and courteous.

I had a steak egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin. I thought is was good. Good flavor, wasnt sloppy and put together in a rush. Not really a complaint, but wanted it on an everything bagel. they were all out by the time i got to the shop around 11. Pretty common with shops like this at that hour. Not a complaint, just a pointed observation. All around very good to me.

My girlfriend wanted a bacon egg and cheese on a plain with the egg scrambled and extra bacon. She was a bit dismayed that the egg wasn’t very scrambled. Wasn’t a bad sandwich, and was completely eaten. Said it didn’t taste bad just not what she was looking for.

I liked the layout of the shop. If i had time to come in and sit would recommend. Very nice atmosphere. Good selection of items and things to drink. Hungry and want a decent meal with good service? Would recommend for sure.

In case you’re a smoker, they do not allow smoking inside. The Marlboro man might get a good meal but get upset that they don’t have ashtrays on the tables.

They don’t use gloves when preparing food. I didn’t realize until after she bagged my bagel. I didn’t say anything but my stomach turned. I didnt eat the bagel i thru it in the trash. Thats a sanitary issue for me. It was 3 bucks. Everyone was really nice. Just yuck… use gloves… i won’t go back.

Best bagel I’ve ever had. Friendly staff, clean, fantastic food, and plenty of options!

Our bagels were toasted exactly how we like them with a perfect amount of cream cheese: A thick spread inside that didn’t drip out or overpower the bagel’s flavor. Could not ask for a better bagel/breakfast. We’re very excited to come back.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great bagels and friendly staff, but $7 for a Pumpkin Cold Brew that is essentially all ice? Lost me on this one.

I think this is like the fourth review I’ve left for this place but if Google keeps asking I’m gonna keep answering. Amazing bagels, amazing bagel sandwiches (you could also get a wrap or a roll but… why?). The staff are some of the most wonderful people I kind of know. It’s the same family and a lot of the same staff since opening in 1995. They really are just kind people, attentive to your needs and wants, and I don’t know what I’d do without this place and without the people in it ❤️.

5 Star to try and counteract the over reactors on here. In reality it’s pretty good. It wasn’t soaked in grease and the ingredients were fresh and prepared well.
I was served promptly, and I was satisfied with the quality.

very disappointed. from food taking quite some time to watching them drop the knife used to cut bagels on the floor kick it around with there feet and not even clean it and go right back to using it for food. no one had gloves on, no one washed there hands most of them had the hair out and not kept clean and all the employees looking annoyed or disgusted. I won’t be returning

I live in Pitman. I purposefully drive to Village Bagels because I felt they were the best value around for price and taste. Today made me do 180 on that belief. 1 bacon egg cheese, 1 sausage egg and cheese, 4 loose plain bagels and Nesquick. $27 was my bill. Sorry, I a have become a firm believer that once I get price gouged I cannot forgive.a loose bagel has no business costing more then a $1. Sorry, and I do understand how they are made. I believe their challenge is payroll and thus the high prices. Sorry but you don’t need 8 teenagers working behind a counter when they are tripping over each other on a Sunday morning. Then, the taste. Sausage lacked any flavor whatsoever. It tasted freezer burnt. It was on a blueberry muffin, tasted like a plain bagels. For these reasons, I’m out. Will drive to Times Square in Bellmawr for my next bagel trip. Then the gall to have a tip jar on the counter. If my bill were $18 and change which it was a 6 mo the ago for the same order, I would have left the change of a $20 in there for you. But since the owner has been one excessively greedy, see he or she for your tip, they collected that up front on my opinion

Great customer service, great price. Bagels are really doughy though. Im used to bagels with a bit more hardness and solidity to them. These are super soft and doughy. Maybe a bit undercooked? Everything bagel w b/e/c wasnt bad. Not the everything seasonings Im used to but not a bad thing. Overall good stop for food.
