$8.60 for 6 bagels…and such poor quality!
What happened to this place? Just head to Stew’s and avoid this place, don’t bother here.
Look at that thing…frozen bagels at the grocery are better!!

I wish this place was near where i live, over an hour away. Really good bagels, like puffy soft clouds. Excellelent food that tastes clean and fresh. And the world would be a much better place if there were more people in like Bianca. Like a bright candle in a dark room. Helpful, warm, and funny and memorable. Will make a point to stop by on travels jn the future.

Got a bagel with avocado. Any other place would charge me for the bagel with the addition of avocado which is an additional $2 according to the menu. They charged me for an “avocado toast” which cost $7. See pics for the lamest, overpriced avocado toast you’ll ever see.

I can’t say enough good things about Village Bagels in Norwalk—what a fantastic spot! I stopped in recently and was blown away by the quality and care they put into their food. I started with an iced chai tea, which was perfectly spiced, not too sweet, and incredibly refreshing on a warm day. Then came the bagel with scallion cream cheese and lox—honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had. The bagel was fresh, perfectly toasted, and piled high with creamy, flavorful scallion cream cheese and generous slices of silky lox.
I also ordered the Number 5 sandwich from their menu, and wow, it was a game-changer. It was absolutely stuffed with meat, fresh veggies, and all the fixings, making every bite hearty and delicious. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their craft. The atmosphere here is so cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to grab a quick bite, enjoy a leisurely lunch, or even just sip a coffee while catching up with a friend.
And don’t sleep on their muffins! The pistachio muffin was a dream for a nut lover like me, with such a rich, authentic flavor. I also tried the cornbread muffin, and it was pure comfort food—moist, slightly sweet, and just like homemade. Village Bagels is consistent, welcoming, and clearly a local favorite for a reason. Whether you’re craving a healthy sandwich, a classic bagel, or a sweet treat, this place has it all. I’ll be back soon and recommend it to everyone in Norwalk or any neighboring cities or towns!

I just visited Village Bagels again and was blown away by their iced coffee—it was absolutely phenomenal! The addition of nutmeg elevated the flavor to a whole new level, delivering a rich, aromatic experience that was both unique and delightful. You can tell the coffee was freshly brewed with high-quality ingredients; unlike many places nearby, it wasn’t diluted or lackluster in the slightest. The atmosphere at Village Bagels is equally inviting, with a warm, welcoming vibe that makes every visit enjoyable. The staff truly stands out—they’re attentive, friendly, and genuinely care about their customers. Plus, the cleanliness of the location is impeccable, reflecting their commitment to excellence. I can’t recommend Village Bagels enough for a top-tier coffee and a fantastic overall experience!

I got myself a cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry cream cheese and a Snapple. It cost nearly TEN DOLLARS, which shocked me at the register but whatever. Things are expensive, I get it. But when I got home and opened my bagel I was shocked at the size. It literally is a mini-bagel. In no world is this a full sized bagel. This is what we call “shrinkflation” my friends. It’s upsetting because the bagel was actually really good. But $10 for a mini bagel and a Snapple is insanely unacceptable.

I tried to do this the proper way and call but they don’t answer their phone honesty ever. I work just down the street and my coworker and I decided to eat here today. Sandwich is good but when it came to my chips there was something off. Imagine my surprise when I bite them and they are stale….not only are they out of date but look at the picture and you tell me what this hole is. I’ve seen it before so I already know…..but you can judge. Should check your merchandise better.

How hard is it to understand jalapeño cream cheese? I got plain cream cheese one too many times. Today is officially my last visit there. Also what happened to the original crew? The moment I stepped through the door they were already making my order because I went there that often that everyone knew my order because it never changes.

This crew sucks. I get they don’t know me. That’s fine. But when someone says jalapeño cream cheese then be damn sure that is what you are putting on the bagel.

In short no longer a customer. I will just go elsewhere.

INCONSISTENT QUALITY, PRICES & SERVICE. Everyday is a different charge . They want nothing but to try and tack on charges . For the same egg sandwich , one day it’s $6 one days it’s $9. And their “breakfast platters” aren’t a platter, it’s just $13 eggs and they charge another $7 for toast and home fries . Was a customer for a long time but me and many others will no longer be eating here .

What the heck has happened to your bagels? First, it was your bagel machine broke. Then it was staff turnover. I come to your store for your bagels…they were amazing and now they are not. You need to figure out a way to get your bagels back to what they were…after all…its in your name “Village BAGELS”.
