My husband and I dined at Villa Nuova (with our two young children) about 2 years ago when we were living in Bothell. The restaurant looked nice. It was quiet and only one other couple was sitting in the dining area. Our hostess sat us down and walked away without offering us drinks and it took a long time for our waiter to arrive. It took even longer to get our food. We waited over an hour with a crabby, hungry toddler. We couldn’t flag anyone down for extra drinks because the staff was busy socializing over in the lounge area at the front of the restaurant. And when the food arrived, it wasn’t worth the wait. I had ordered the Cloppino, and at nearly $20 for the plate I expected it to taste great. The seafood did not taste fresh at all. Even the lasagna was terrible. Hopefully management has improved since our dining experience. But we never ate there again.

Best Italian food I’ve ever had outside of Italy itself. Forget the Italian chain restaurants, Villa Nuova is where it’s at. The bread is made fresh daily and you can definitely tell, loved the bruscetta as well for a great appetizer. Haven’t ordered anything on the menu I didn’t like. I’ve never gone on the weekends, but on the weekdays there is never anyone there customer-wise! Obviously get great service being as the place is mostly empty, great people, great food, great prices.

A little hard to find, they’re in a strip mall with a small storefront. The neighboring casino overshadows it.
The atmosphere was very nice inside with a tile floor and some pleasant music playing.
I happened to have an Entertainment coupon I wanted to use and they took it without a second thought. Service was fast and attentive.
The bread and seasoned oil that came before our dinner was very delicious and they brought more when we asked.
Our dinner was good and although my spaghetti came without cheese I asked for some and they brought some right away. And it was the most excellent grated cheese, oh so very delicious. Mmmmm, I can’t say enough.
My $5 glass of house wine was good and I had no complaints about it.
They had a tomato soup with basil on the menu that I really wanted to try, but it was $7 or $8 and that was too much for me, perhaps on another day.

We had a wonderful meal last night at Villa Nuova. The food was fantastic we had the veal Marsala and the braised pork shank. Both were very good. The crown jewel of the meal was the sharing of the home made cheese cake made with mascarpone. Some of the best we have ever had. The service was a bit slow, but in fairness the waiter had a difficult couple at another table. Really nice restaurant. We will be back soon

If you don’t mind eating a romantic meal where everyone can hear and see you and if you don’t mind the fact that this place is in a strip mall, then you will enjoy the food immensely. Yes the service was a bit slow, but to be expected when dining at a restaurant with European influence. I would have liked the tables to have been booths so I could share a quiet evening with my husband rather than listen to the two couples across the restaurant who couldn’t control their laughter.
My husband and I enjoyed the food. He normally doesn’t like bread, but the little bread dippers were amazing and the herbs and spices infused into the oil was delicious. The house salad was light and tangy. The best caprese salad I have ever had. Dinner was a bit salty and the food was bathed in oil and butter, but that is what brings on the flavor! Tiramisu was fantastic. I would go again, but I would order something different next time.

Good marsala but fantastic Alfredo. They use white wine in it and my wife made the mistake of letting me try some of hers. Will go back when in area.

Something changes recently, service and food going downhill. Hopefully a couple bad reviews will wake them up!
