Villa Italian Kitchen

  1.9 – 13 reviews   • Pizza restaurant

Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele’s commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients (like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce), and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. From that first Villa Pizza that opened in 1964, next to the CBS/Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway, to nearly 300 Villa Italian Kitchen restaurants later, our commitment to quality and genuine hospitality remains the basis of our foundation.

Counter-serve pizza chain with traditional pies & slices, plus pasta & other Italian staples.

This place is okay. I got their breadsticks and mozzarella sticks. The mozz sticks seemed old and didn’t taste good. The breadsticks were prime however and probably the best thing on their menu. I’m not the biggest fan of the fact that they have to take the food from the display and warm it back up before it’s served to you. All in all it’s an okay place.

Would’ve given it a 0 if possible. The food tasted like it was remicrowaved day old food. Also found several hairs in my Alfredo pasta. Both the guy who served it and myself didn’t have long hair, wonder how long that marinated in the sauce. That was nasty. FDA needs to check this place out. Not up to code based on these reviews.

I should have heeded The other reviews! I’ve never seen such horrible customer service in my life! Health code violations hello! Harry served my food without gloves after touching a dirty rag and the garbage can! He and the other worker Braden then gave me horrible attitude when I asked about his hands being clean and instead of trying to resolve the issue with me like a normal place would- they were rude and horrible !!

I’ve eaten here dozen times and never had any issues with it. The stuffed pizza is amazing, and the staff always look like theyre having a blast.

Pizza was good. But side of alfrado was bad. Noodles were dry and crusty and sauce was cold and lumpy.

There was no one to take my order. so I waited behind the customer in front of me paying, only to have the customers behind me arrive and the other employee finally show up. I was ignored and ended up going somewhere else to eat.

It’s not the best pizza you’ll ever have, and sometimes it’ll be cold even though they heat it up. Tastes a little old too.

There are okay pizza, too dry but while fresh, too much oil and I had to wipe the oil off. It looks so good but I was wrong.

Everything looks like it would be delicious when fresh, but everything looked like it had been made hours prior and was sitting out for the more part of the day. Ended up dining elsewhere.
