Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele’s commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients (like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce), and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. I have eaten here several times in the past while working in the area and thought it was great. Today i went in at 10:30 and asked the employee if they were open. He seemed annoyed and just replied “not yet.” I looked around and saw no signs saying when they opened so i asked what time. Again, he looked annoyed and told me 11. The chicken Stromboli was cold and bland. Thier marinara sauce was bland and the pineapple pizza huge which wouldn’t be a problem if it was actually warm. The food is under a warmer so I guess I should of known better.

It has literally been years since I visited this spot. The slice the guy put out for me was so small and I asked for the bigger one and he looked like he didn’t mind and even put it in the oven for me. The girl at the front however did not give me the slice I asked for. She even lied saying this IS the bigger one but it wasn’t even a big slice. Horrible start to my day and on top of all that it is the holidays. Today is New Year’s Eve and this is the type of service I get.

Love this place! Get it every time we go to the mall. The Stromboli’s are delicious and so are the garlic rolls. The marinara sauce tastes super fresh and is packed with flavor.
On top of the great food, the staff is always so nice to us! We go here with our three small kiddos and they are very patient and accommodating

Talk about beautiful carbs! This place is heavenly! From the fresh garlic croissant rolls, large pizza slices, and the huge spinach tomato bread it was all fresh and packed with flavor. You need to try this place out! Their fresh homemade Marinara sauce will have you singing in Italian!

Got pepperoni pizza and it was awful. You can tell they combine slices from who knows when and serve the oldest slices first to cut costs, always the sign of a thriving Italian restaurant: can’t get the pizza right. Just not good or fresh at all and a bit pricey
