Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen

  3.4 – 16 reviews  $ • Pizza restaurant

Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele’s commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients (like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce), and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. From that first Villa Pizza that opened in 1964, next to the CBS/Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway, to nearly 300 Villa Italian Kitchen restaurants later, our commitment to quality and genuine hospitality remains the basis of our foundation.

Counter-serve pizza chain with traditional pies & slices, plus pasta & other Italian staples.

If you order a freshly made pizza, it is very delicious! Other than that, DO NOT order any item sitting under their red light during the evening (or even during the day sometimes) because it has been sitting out for HOURS and even though they put it back in the oven to reheat, all that does is make the pizza harder and difficult to crew. A freshly ordered pizza is what saved them from me giving them one star.

The staff and pizza are always great. The best option at the mall to eat at especially if you have a lot of mouths to feed. All the options at Villa are wonderful and mouth watering. Eating here is the highlight of almost every visit to the mall.

For the most part, food is great, especially for the price.

However, there is one worker who always ignores me and it is getting annoying. Last time I was there, no one else was around. It wasn’t until a female customer walked up and one of the other workers walked out that he even acknowledged my presence (he never did take my order)

I wonder if any one else has been ignored

We had their food today for a lunch meeting at OLOL had to be the worst Italian food I’ve ever had. Everyone was talking about how it tasted like eating cardboard. The best thing was the salad.

Pizza was okay, not the best. But watch for the prices. They told me around $3.50 for a cheese pizza and then charged me around $4.50 which rang up to $5.00. When I confronted the cashier, they said I ordered some fancier pizza…it was a cheese pizza…

The service and food was great here. Tigolo Gomez greeted me as soon as I stepped to the counter to take my order.
