We had a nice lunch. The food arrived appropriately hot and each member of our party had a different meal and was pleased.
One thing I don’t like when eating out is when the server doesn’t clear the plates when the guests have finished eating. That step wasn’t taken as immediately as I would have liked.

We’ve eaten at Villa Francesco’s on more occasions than I can count. We love Italian food and have eaten at innumerable Italian restaurants in this area, in New York City, as well as in Italy. V.F’s has never disappointed and has always left us with the impression that the Chefs here are not just competent, but, on a higher level, really understand food, understand cooking, understand their ingredients and how they work together. They really know what they are doing. I’ve seen other, less enthusiastic reviews, and I know that no place is perfect, but V.F’s is as close as you’re going to get.

Villa Francesco’s is a very nice Italian restaurant and pizzeria. The menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable. This is a BYOB. In general, thr food was very good. The veal parm was excellent with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The calamari was ok (a little underdone), but the sauce was excellent. The menu salads were large and flavorful. We did not have the included house salad. The included bread could was cold. We would have preferred it warmed. Tables are spaced well with white table linens and good napkins. The ceilings are high so it lacked some ambiance, but the room maintained a good temperature. Service was attentive and helpful. We liked that all of the entrees arrived at the table simultaneously. This appeared to be true for any size table.

Our server was really rude to us and told us that it wasn’t okay that two people in our group of five weren’t ordering their own entree. After initially getting annoyed with us, she stopped paying attention to our table and then charged 18% gratuity even though we were only a party of 5. The food itself was pretty good, but is overpriced and definitely not worth the rude experience with the service.

I made a reservation for 20 people to celebrate my father’s retirement. Service was pretty good. Our main waiter was extremely patient with us, explained all of the specials and even customized many of our meals. The environment here is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Villa Francesco’s and will come back here in the future when I’m in the mood for some good Italian food. Food is good and reasonably priced. Additional bonus is this restaurant is byob so we brought a few bottles of wine which enhanced our dining experience.

Cosi delizioso! We were heading home from a musical in lambertville and all the restaurants there were full on a Saturday night. Lucky us, because Villa Francesco’s was the kind of excellent trattoria you hope to find but rarely do. A few of us wanted a light dinner and the starters were the perfect size (also perfectly seared soft scallops) while others enjoyed a variety of very good pastas. Save room for dessert because the molten chocolate cake and tiramisu were just right with an espresso with a twist of lemon. Service is swift and the atmosphere on a Saturday night was lively but not too loud (ie the 96 year old could actually hear us). Wish we lived closer to be regulars!

Always love this restaurant. Tonight I used their Slice ordering application on line. I added a 10% gratuity and drove to pick up. The order was incomplete when I picked it up. I was told I shouldn’t have used the Slice application as it cost the restaurant more money and was unreliable. I was stunned by this attitude. When I asked for additional bread I was told no.

Went there the very first time and saw the today special “Caribbean salad” on the way in give it a try. The price is $19.24 for a small bowl of green with 4 fried shrimps (dried and rubbery). Anyone been there and had it?
