I used to love coming here I was a regular but after tonight the experience was horrible my waiter sucked rude and confident also the bartender tried to tell me that my drink has been always been me the same way when I showed her a picture how it was made recently and I’ve been sitting down for the last 40 minutes was no service or asked what I like a new drink and cups were dirty. Never would I come back here they lost me and my friends as customers

I was excited to visit this restaurant and it didn’t turn out to be exactly what I imagined. It was a typical Mexican restaurant that served us semi cold food and cheap liquor. Although it was a “vibe” with the music playing I was expecting more for the price. Our waiter Geno was amazing he came over every 5 minutes and never missed a beat on our order.

This is THE BEST Mexican/Latin food I’ve had in a long time. We are in town on vacation and just popped in to see what it was all about. BEST MOVE we’ve made this week!!

Our waiter was AWESOME and super attentive. I absolutely loved the food. I cant say enough good things about this place.

I really like the food, especially the tacos, and the chips and salsa offered for free, and nice selection of cold beer on tap.
The music is too loud for me, and sitting at the bar was a little cold with the other side open to outside. There’s a great deal during happy hour and service is excellent.

What a great place. The food is always very good. The drinks were great with such cool little things like flowers, dry ice, flamed orange slices. The service is great and everyone is very friendly. I love the space itself. The outdoor bar is great. It is our new favorite restaurant for Mexican food. It’s also very affordable.

Again I will say from a previous review…just when you go USE CASH. The servers are hit or miss if my server makes me feel as though I’m bothering them I’m tipping $5 max how was the tip adjusted to $15. They did this previously making a $10 tip $17 however I didn’t keep the receipt so I posted a review. This time I have photos definitely gives a little SCAMMER VIBE RIGHT

This place was so amazing. The music and vibe made an awesome experience. The food was good, the employees were very nice, the place was very clean. They have inside and outside seating. After a certain time, it turns into a Latino club. Would definitely go again.

I’ve been coming to Villa Cantina and I want to share an honest experience.

Recently, I had an extremely upsetting and unacceptable interaction with a security guard who was working there. The situation became homophobic and hostile. He called me a derogatory name and even went as far as putting his hands on me, which made me feel unsafe and disrespected. No one should ever be treated that way, especially in a place that’s supposed to be welcoming and fun.

However, I also want to be very clear about something important: the way management handled the situation completely changed the outcome. I immediately spoke with the managers, and they took the matter seriously right away. The situation was addressed quickly, and the security guard was apprehended. They did not dismiss my concerns, and they did not try to downplay what happened.

Armando, one of the managers, was incredibly open-minded, professional, and kind. He made sure I felt heard and supported. The other manager (a woman whose name I unfortunately don’t remember) went out of her way to reassure me that I am always welcome there and that the behavior I experienced does not represent who they are as a business.

Aside from that incident, I genuinely love the workers there. The staff is consistently kind, attentive, and hardworking. The environment is clean, organized, and they always go the extra mile to make sure everything is done right. You can tell they care about their establishment and their guests.

While what happened to me should never have occurred, I do respect the way management handled it. Accountability matters, and they demonstrated that they do not tolerate discrimination or misconduct.

I hope this review encourages continued commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment for everyone.

Misleading and Kinda Scammy…

We decided to go dancing on a Saturday night. My friend called ahead to ask how we could get in, since the place operates as a restaurant during the day and turns into a club at night. The person on the phone told her we could arrive early, have dinner, and not have to pay the entrance fee for the club.

We showed up around 8:30 p.m. and had dinner. While we were eating, around 9:30 p.m., the waiter asked us to leave because they needed to set up for the club (removing the tables for dancing). We were surprised because we thought we could stay as long as we were dining. He spoke to his manager and said it would be fine if we showed the receipt from our dinner when we enter again for dancing.

We left the restaurant and waited in the car for about 30 minutes until they were ready. However, when we returned, they told us we couldn’t enter unless we paid the entrance fee, without considered the dinner receipt.

Our issue wasn’t with paying the entrance fee; it was that they misled us, starting with the phone call and continuing with the waiter, making us spend more by having dinner and then paying the fee. It wouldn’t have been difficult to just be honest and say, since the beginning, the club entrance fee was mandatory.

️ Food: ‘El Molino’ and ‘Tlaxcalita’ have better, tastier dishes.

Drinks: Just ok, my husband and I ordered diferent drinks but they tasted the same.

Service: Poor. The menu didn’t show alcohol prices. The waiter was about to ask but then hesitated and just asked me what I wanted and he gave me a price.

Atmosphere: Good for having fun with friends. The music was very loud.
