Burnt pizza and when I called to tell them they said that they couldn’t do anything because they’ve been getting a lot of complaints about burnt pizza and they have been checking them to make sure they aren’t before they go out. Whelp boys, ya missed one. Also salad had gross soggy lettuce . I would include pictures of it too, but I already threw it in the trash. When I said I could show them pictures they said there was no way for them to receive them. So I thought I’d post them on Google.

Their sandwiches are surprisingly good pizza is average I’d say. The people who make the pizzas act like you’re causing them physical harm by ordering from them. They aren’t that fast either. I ordered online and came at my pickup time but the order wasn’t started. The cashier is always nice. The food is good nonetheless and it’s in a convenient location for hood river.

Nice little place that certainly got busy around 1900-1930 on a Friday night. Plenty of parking, but they are limited on the indoor seating. Everything was made to order but it didn’t take a long time to get served. The staff was plenty friendly and helpful with choices and suggestions.

New York State of Mind
This is it! I happened to be passing through and wanted to grab something fresh, healthy and quick. I had goggled a different place and parked in front of Pelinti. As I sat in my car, looking at the 3 person crew, they had smiles on their faces, laughing and enjoying the evening. Watching the chef do her thing, with the breads (pita) , and pizza dough.made me think of New York.
I said to myself: Yeah, why not? It’ll be like any other trendy place. Walking in, I notice a mother and her little boy, and mentioned to the host/cashier. It was my first time there. She pleasantly, pointed out their featured menu, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. I opted for a cheese slice and kale/apple salad! For my number, sat down and waiting for a “slice and salad”
What was brought to me, was an incredible , beautiful vibrant color of greens kale, candied walnuts, apples, radicchio with their special dressing that caused a flash mob of flavors, the different textures, crunchy, tangy, sweet fresh apple that gave it that perfect balance. This is not packaged! Then came this amazing slice of cheese pizza, as I lifted up from my plate, I noticed that it was made in a way, that can only be done in New York, I mean, if you ever had a New York pie (slice) you’ll know what I’m talking about. I was able to perfectly fold it, and bit into the most soft, melt in your mouth, with the right amount of sauce and cheese. At that moment! I was taken back to New York, Brooklyn Heights, on Montague St. the beeping of horns, people talking/yelling, the roar of the subway, the aroma of coffee, pizza baking, and the bustling of life around you. I really wanted to cry.
Thank you, to the Chef and her crew, who made my drive back to OC pleasant, and memorable.

We had the pizza slices (pepperoni, veggie, meat and a Greek salad. So the flavors were good but wow too much salt. It would have rated 5 but I couldn’t handle the amount of salt in the pizza and the salad. I thought maybe it was because the pizza sat out but the dressing was also very salty. So that’s unfortunate and the reason for the 3 stars Tone down your salt and your floors will shine even more!! Crust was a nice crispy thin crust also.

Darn good pizza. I’m a picky eater, and I ate every bite. I got some heavenly slice with balsamic, kale, apple and candied walnuts. My toddler, who is also a picky eater, loved the pepperoni pizza. We were able to buy single slices. Quick, friendly service. I had initially pulled off of the highway to look for the Dairy Queen, but I found Pelinti’s first and I’m so glad I did!

Both of us got a ton of cheese, undercooked, with almost no sauce at all, even though we requested extra sauce and well done when we put the order in over the phone. The crust is actually good but kind of just a really poor attempt at a pizza, especially considering our specific asks…….We still tipped well, maybe they were out of sauce and just trying to get by? Will update the review if we try it again and have a better experience.

Very nice place! I ordered two slices of cheese pizza, and it tasted great! There’s a lot to choose from on the menu, and everything looks appetizing. The interior is nice and well organized. It had a charm to it, I will definitely go here again when I get the chance.

Was running through Hood River and needed to stop for lunch with the kids. This place was great! They had a number of pizzas ready by thr slice and was able to do a simple add on the cheese pizza for my son. All 3 of were able to eat for under 30.
They do have other options than pizza too but didn’t try those. Wish they had some more drink options for the kids but water worked fine.
Will definitely come back the next time we are driving through.
