I finally made it to Villa Arcos on Navigation Boulevard, and wow, what a spot for tacos. Small, no-frills, bright red walls, simple wooden tables and chairs, and a good crowd of locals. This was my first time here, and the tacos were absolutely delicious. The homemade tortillas are something special. That green hot sauce… perfect – spicy enough to wake things up without overpowering everything.

The standout for me, though, was the service. Siana was adorable and super helpful – she noticed I was trying to decide on a drink and recommended the horchata coffee. One sip, and I’m hooked; it’s creamy, cinnamon-y, and the ideal mix of sweet and caffeinated.

If you’re in Houston and love authentic tacos, do yourself a favor and stop by. I’ll definitely be a regular from now on.”

I’ve been coming to Villa Arcos for a while now, and they never disappoint. It is honestly some of the best comfort food in the city.

I ordered the Barbacoa Plate and the Barbacoa Super Breakfast Taco. The meat was incredible—super tender, flavorful, and not overly greasy. The “Super” taco definitely lives up to its name; the portion sizes are huge!

Beyond the food, the vibe here is what keeps me coming back. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and they make you feel right at home. You really can’t beat the prices, either. It’s rare to find a place this cheap that serves food this high-quality. If you haven’t been yet, you are missing out!

My grandmother lived right off the the corner house (brings back memories) and I always like coming here for some delicious breakfast tacos. I drive all the way here from Sugar Land for these tacos.

Thus place has been in business for a long time, tacos are good you won’t be disappointed, the people that work in here are very kind, just thinking that they may be better on the coffee taste, maybe try another brand. Other than that, definitely is a must try for those who haven’t. Oh, I almost forgot, you may need some patience because this place is usually pack in the mornings, remember what I said, the tacos are good.

I am a regular at Villa Arcos. Ever since they re-opened some years ago.
I order once per week or twice, early in the morning for 7am meetings. So, my orders go from 30-35 tacos every time .
Their tacos are really good, they are generous with the sizes so you do get what you pay for. Now, the only issue for me is that no matter how long in advance I place my order, when I arrive to pick up, they aren’t ready yet. If I call the order in, or I place it online… same thing. And the lady who’s always there early before 7am shes always making me faces bc I’m rushing them, she gets so bothered. Well, I’m sorry lady… I have somewhere to be on time. Can’t be late ! I think my weekly orders aren’t good enough for you.
I switched from ordering from brothers taco bc theirs are so greasy. But, with a broken heart, I might have to go back to them again.
***My only issue is timing, not the quality of their tacos***

Parking was easy, which was a nice start. The people at the counter were friendly and polite. It did take a little while to get the food, but nothing extreme.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the taste of my meal. The prices were normal for the Navigation area, so no surprises there, but the flavor just did not land for me. Because of that, I would not return.

Don’t think this place needs my review because the locals already know. Friendly and helpful counter service followed by a quality product. I’ll return every time I come back in town.
I got the bacon super and chorizo and potato both tasty and filling.

Villa Arcos is the absolute best. I have never had better breakfast tacos, and they are open very early, so it is a good place for people who need to get to work early. Note: If you order ahead, they may make drinks when you get there, and that can take around 15-20 minutes. The Bacon super is the taco that I would recommend the most, but they are all good.

Small family atmosphere, great service, take out or eat in, outdoor tables for those who like to eat outside. I got the Potato, egg, chorizo breakfast tacos. The house made chorizo and flour tortillas were absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!
