The food was excellent, too. The mahi mahi was cooked perfectly light, flavorful, and paired well with the sides. The Detroit Burger was another highlight: juicy, well seasoned, and stacked with fresh toppings that hit the spot. For starters, the spinach and artichoke dip was creamy, cheesy, and came out hot with plenty of toasted bread points for dipping. Everything tasted fresh and came out quickly, which added to the experience.
The atmosphere was lively but still relaxed enough to enjoy a good meal and conversation. While there’s always room for little improvements here and there, the overall visit was a strong one. Between the great service, especially from Miranda, and the delicious food, Fins is a place I’ll happily return to
The drinks and food were outstanding. We enjoyed the velvet pumpkin and caramel apple cocktails, and couldn’t recommend them enough. I picked the white fish with salad and a loaded baked potato.
Our waitress was super nice and our food came out fast. We each had a three course meal and drinks for ~$50 bucks a person with a nice size serving.
Highly recommend & will return!
If you’re looking for one of the best dining experiences in New Baltimore, Michigan, look no further than Finn’s. This place is a hidden gem that completely blew us away with its outstanding food and exceptional service.
I ordered the Finn’s Chicken Sandwich, and it might be the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. My wife had the Grilled Tuna Salad, and it was absolutely amazing—fresh, perfectly cooked, and beautifully seasoned. You can tell the kitchen puts real care into every dish.
The service was top-notch from start to finish. The staff was friendly, fast, and genuinely cared about making our visit memorable. Whether you’re in town for a quick bite or a relaxing night out, Finn’s delivers a 5-star experience every time.
Highly recommend this spot to anyone searching for great restaurants in New Baltimore MI. We’ll definitely be back!
Food is Excellent. Had the Oysters on the half shell. Large and fresh. The spinach artichoke dip is cheese Heaven! Toasted bread goes well and will fill you up. Ask for the zip sauce! Great addition side to dip your bread in. My son loved the bread with the spinach, artichoke dip. I took a Caesar wrap to go home. Chicken had a lot of flavor. Asked for the dressing on the side. Crunchy romaine and thick savor Caesar dressing.
Highly recommend checking this place out. It’s worth the drive. Loved the atmosphere and the decor. I’ll be back to check out the upstairs. The staff is Phenomenal. Gave recommendations, knew the menu, fast & friendly. See Nikki at the bar. She did a wonderful job serving me and my son. Extremely knowledgeable & happy we went with her recommendations.
Update – 6/1/25
Back for brunch. Food taste great, but they need to bring back the lunch options. The sausage gravy needed more spices. Majorly lacking pepper. I was very disappointed in the menu. Very few options. I couldn’t get a chicken Caesar pita. That’s what I really wanted!! Brunch is from 10 am – 1 pm.
Bring back the full menu!!
Have really loved the Wedge Salad – and the chicken tenders are fabulous. Would definitely recommend as they were also recommended to me by a friend! Prices are very reasonable and we had plenty to eat.
On a nice day we started off with cocktails outside on the upper 2nd level deck to enjoy the view, shade, and cool lake breeze.
We then proceeded down to the first floor where my husband enjoyed a special of the day – Snapper Piccata which he found very filling with a very good size portion and good price. I loved the deep fried firm shrimp which was lightly battered and crispy and was steaming hot when it arrived at the table.
We always enjoy Fin’s fresh salads which comes with dinner – served in a chilled steel bowl! If you don’t like a lot of dressing (the blue cheese was awesome), then ask for it on the side as it comes “dressed.”
Beautiful intimate environment and nice new bar on the first floor with great chairs!
