We are a local family-owned business originally from Southern Italy with over 35 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Previous owners of Villa Pizza in Holmdel, NJ, we are excited to bring our new location to Matawan, NJ. We serve fresh pizza daily, including specialty pies and squares with both thin and NY-style crusts. Our pasta and meats are both fresh and local. We prepare all of our dressings in-house. I was at a party at Villa Amore. The food was amazing and the servers was the best service. Great Restaurant. The in house Rum cake was a huge hit with everyone. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Do not order from this place. I ordered through Uber Eats which gave a delivery time of 15 min it was delivered over an hour. I ordered an Italian sub and they did not add all the meats as they only put ham on. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager who laughed and said the cook has made these subs before and told me not to call the place ever again. I understand mistakes happen but the level of customer service and respect here is despicable.

Pizza isn’t it, looks nothing like what they show and the cheese tastes old and the sauce is super sweet. Also I specifically asked for well done and this is far from well done. It actually tastes like a pie that’s been sitting out all day and was tossed in and slightly reheated. Wouldn’t go back personally. Just not worth the price.

Went to Villa Amore last night with my wife. Dining room was packed, which is indicative of the quality of their food and the fact that it is reasonably priced. In addition, the family who owns this establishment, are some of the nicest and warmest people you would ever want to meet.
Last night, we sat near the counter and ordered a pie with 1/2 mushrooms and sausage and asked for it to be well done. Pie came out as we requested. Great crisp and zero flop. Our server checked up on us throughout the meal and was extremely friendly and pleasant.
If you are looking to support a Mom and Pop establishment that has excellent food and is reasonably priced – this is your place. Every time we have eaten there or did takeout, we were always treated exceptionally well. I highly recommend this pizzeria/restaurant.

This restaurant has to really good food. Th fried calamari & rice balls. Their pizza was Fresh and crispy crust. The staff was pleasant. Thank you for your service Villa Amore. The food definitely hit the spot. And it was a warm inviting place for my family to go to after a dramatic event happened. 🙁

Unbelievable service and food. Chicken Amore is amazing. Pizza is good, too. Pasquale and his wife are top-notch. Every dish is good, Villa Amore sauce is so delicious. Stop by this place is a hidden Gem.

We spent $63 before tip. No alcohol. Salad was warm. Pasta Fagioli had no pasta, needed extra salt and cheese to give it flavor, while the temperature was tepid at best. Cheesesteak was dry, and so was the Italian hot dog. The waitress apologize for no pasta in the soup, while stating “He just forgot to put the pasta in.” The cost of the soup was not deducted. The waitress was polite and pleasant.
There was a high-pitched bell that dinged every few minutes. It was very annoying.

I absolutely love trying to pizza spots . This place wasn’t too bad. The inside was really cool and definitely a nice vibe. Pizza was good not great , I wasn’t too crazy about the steak roll but the chicken and bacon with ranch was really good. Prices were average so that’s good . Not my go to place but overall good pizza !
