We were somewhat disappointed in this restaurant. The view was wonderful, but it was very hot and noisy! There was a wedding going on with music playing and music playing inside at the same time which sounded like a bunch of noise. The inside music should have been turned off. The filet was delicious as well as the drinks. Don’t take a 4:30 reservation unless it’s a cooler day.

We had a nice dinner here. The filet and macadamia nut crusted fresh catch were excellent. Also enjoyed the Monkeypod Mai Tai and Lychee Spritz. Their location is a great place to see the sunset. The atmosphere would have been better if we had not been stuck in the corner.

Five stars for the food, two for the venue. Make sure you go after sunset or you may fry – this is a known issue with the very accommodating and helpful waitstaff, but there’s only so much they can do. If you go for an early dinner (as we did), the restaurant gets very hot while the sun makes its slow creep towards the horizon. Our table relocated a row further from the windows/doors, and every customer after us refused to sit at our original table. By the time we left, our second row table was in full sun and we were HOT. I’m fairly tolerant to heat, but it was too much for the older folks in our party and killed the mood. We would have loved to stay for dessert and few more drinks, but we bolted and ended up paying our tab in the bar just to get out of the sun. Wish they’d invest in some blackout shades for the top 50% of the windows – it wouldn’t hurt the view, which was wonderful, and we’d definitely stay longer. Highly recommend the poke tacos (skip the lobster deviled eggs), ahi steak, and concrete jungle cocktail – wish we could’ve had more! And just as a small tweak, if you’re going for a birthday I wouldn’t mention it – you’ll get a kind of cheesy card signed by the staff (and pass the podium where 500 more sit to be signed, haha). It’s an intimate gesture that didn’t hit quite right when you’re buying a $400 dinner. Would’ve preferred a candle in our appetizer or something. Hope to return one day (after 6 PM). 🙂

This is a great dining experience. Reservations required. The fish dishes are exceptional and the cocktails were fancy. Going here at sunset is a must. The views are amazing.

Delicious experience at the Beach House. We sat right at the window line with the doors fully open to enjoy the moonlite water. Make reservations ahead of time. Dinner was delicious! We went with kids 13&10 and they do have a kid’s menu up to 12yrs old.

If you want a sunset and incredible drinks, this is the place. The view of the sunset can’t get much better with a cocktail in hand.

We are at Beach House on Easter, and it was one of our favorite dinners in the Poipu area. For cocktails, my dad enjoyed his Mai Tai, my mom and I enjoyed the Lilikoi cocktail (It was a drink that started with “Na” for the name), and my husband got the margarita but didn’t care for it im since it was spicy. I also got the Lilikoi ale and that was delicious, I preferred it to the cocktail. For our appetizers we had the potstickers and green beans, both were very good. For our entrees, I got the filet mignon, which had great flavors. I loved the truffle mashed potatoes. What I didn’t like was that I ordered it medium but it was more like medium well. My husband enjoyed his ribeye, but preferred his steak at Tidepools. Even though my meat was over cooked, I still preferred Beach House to Tidepools. For desert we got the coconut crème brûlée and my husband got a chocolate mousse cake which was a special for Easter. Both were good, I preferred the crème brûlée. Service was great here, our server was very nice. We are here at 4pm which was a good time before the crowds that were there by the time we left. Valet is $3 and you can pay with a credit card. The view of the ocean were beautiful. We recommend visiting here for dinner, make a reservation on Open table.

Way to crowded just before Sunset on a Thursday night. We had a reservation. The cocktails were okay. Our waitress was friendly but not that attentive, and maybe that was ‘cuz of a full house restaurant. But it all worked out. Appetizers and food were delicious.
