Was looking for a coffee shop on a rainy day for a quick work session. Coffee and pastries were great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
But the seating is not enough and outlets are not enough for people who study or work with coffee. Parking wasn’t too convenient.

Drive & Time
This is hands down the best cafe in the DC area. They take coffee making down to a science and do it with attitude. The ambiance is great.
It’s a big bike (bicycle) hang out spot over the weekends, lots of folks riding on the Rhode Island Ave Trolley trail divert here.
Their food options are very light but they do have decent pastries and bagels with cream cheese.
But all that other stuff aside, if you are a coffee enthusiast, you MUST check this place out. It raises the standard for coffee in the greater dc area.

Love this place – atmosphere is very good too but would be great if there was more space, so the one less star is not an indication of anything not good. On the brighter side, there is more sitting space outside now. Had the bagel with cheese cream and açai bowl – so good!

I ordered one, got a small glass of milk with a bowl full of uncooked oat and some raisins. This isn’t muesli!
Muesli has to be cooked for some time. You can check some recipes online!

Unique working and gathering space, with great coffee and seasonal beverages! This cute spot with rustic industrial vibe is tucked away in the block, and has friendly staff. There is a lovely outdoor space and a perfect catch-up location with a small group. I can’t wait to stop by again and explore the area!

Google search for ‘coffee’ took me on a detour to Vigilante, and I’m so glad it did! Hip atmosphere, delicious maple cappuccino, and super savory bagel with chive cream cheese (not pictured). There’s something about going to a coffee shop and getting a mug full of goodness with a little surprise reminder as you enjoy the atmosphere.
