SLOW SERVICE. I WALKED OUT.
Nov 09- I placed my order of a soup and a main before a group of 6. I then watched 8 to-go orders being picked up. After waiting 50 minutes for my order the group of 6 were served their meals.
I was tired of waiting and I walked out.
They prioritize their call in/online orders over their dine-in service. I won’t be back.
ADDED AFTER OWNER RESPONSE-
NOTHING BETTER THAN TO BLAME THE CUSTOMER FOR THE BAD SERVICE.
The response from the owner said that if I was in a hurry I should have called ahead…
NO. I WAITED 50 MINUTES. 50 MINUTES before I walked out. At least bring me the soup I ordered. Your service is not excusable.
And YES I did ask the server how long it would be… and she just smiled.
I suggest you take care of the people sitting in your restaurant.
When I left, there was another table of 4 that arrived shortly after I did. I told them why I walked out and they agreed they were not coming back.
Explain “Most folks have order take out never really have the luxury of waiting.”
What? They are sitting at home… What do you do? Tell them it will be ready in 10 minutes. Suggestion… tell your call in orders it will be 30 minutes.
I suggest you close your dining room and just sell to call-in orders.
Funny thing is that you could have said ‘Sorry, off night, please come back’ but instead your entire reply essentially said… don’t eat here, we are slow.

Love the bistro. Very freindly service and wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend the calamari. It’s fried tender and crispy, never tough and chewy. Although, everything I’ve had is amazing. Love that they order local and fresh ingredients where possible and make their own soy sauce.

Wow! I had an excellent meal. After reading the reviews I knew I wanted to come here because I enjoy different cuisine. I was a bit skeptical at first because we were the only people there, but we were happily greeted and treated by the host/server who took care of us and was happy to explain any thing on the menu. I had ordered the autumn soup and the curry pork at a #4 spice heat. Dang!!!! Spot on with the spice. Not miserably hot, but enough heat to get the blood pumping. The autumn soup was outstanding! I have honestly never had a dish with a taste like that. If you are not eating here and you are in the Dayton area then you are doing yourself a serious disservice. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much for a great meal and super service!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We shared a soup and dish 21. I should have read reviews because a #1 spice level is recommended. We did 2 on soup and it was a little too spicy. We will definitely be back again. New favorite place. Good prices too.

Really enjoyed the food. Service was really good gave great recommendations for newbies. Small stage in the back and kind of a second room with a bar they have karaoke and trivia nights so they have a set of regulars that comes in on those nights. Our trip was on a trivia night and even though they were setting up for trivia it did not distract from our dining experience. Small Quaint restaurant. Regulars were recognizable because the waiter asked if they wanted their usual drink and brought them the right ones as well as appetizers and or food. You could almost say that they have a cross-cultural family atmosphere that does not make a new person feel unwelcome.

Wonderful, vegan pescatarian, vegetarian and normal cuisines. The chef is very knowledgeable and personable great atmosphere, and the drinks were to die for the best seafood rice noodle soup I’ve ever had if you can make calamari fall apart in your mouth, you know how to cook an affinity for Asian food to eat here and if you haven’t had Vietnamese before, I suggest you go here first.
