We found this place when looking for somewhere great to try when visiting Houston and was not disappointed! This was some of the best Vietnamese food my partner and I have had, and we’ve tried plenty through Dallas. We started with the fried pork wantons which was perfect. They were crispy but not hard, and the meat was very tender and juicy. For the entree we had the crispy fried duck and Linda’s childhood street noodles with beef. The noodle dish was PHENOMENAL. Like wow! The tender meat, mixed with the mushrooms, onion, and green onion provided the perfect flavor paired with the soft noodles. This was one of the best dishes we’ve found at a local shop, period. The duck was so crispy! It’s not marinated or really seasoned but tender and paired with hoisin sauce and then it’s sooo good. If you’re nearby, you gotta check this place out!

I have been coming here 10 years! This is the best in Houston. I LOVE IT. I always get the pork vermicelli bowl with egg roll or a pork bánh mì. Both are outstanding. THESE ARE EXCELLENT eggrolls! Very different from the normal ole eggrolls you get elsewhere. These are very unique and crispy! SO GOOD> dang it.Totally affordable food here, and I love the service. Great great food for a good price. Get in here!

The food flavor speaks for it slef. Haven’t had a bad dish in the last five years. We do visit two other Vietnamese spots in the area and the seasonings and flavors are the best here. I saw a complain on the visual of the egg rolls but honestly they taste just like the ones at Mais downtown. Would recommend The prices are a bit high but nothing crazy versus eating anywhere else. Plus their portions are large. Service could use some improvement. Parking seems limited but they have a whole lot in the back.

We met our son and two grandbabies for lunch and the food was amazing. This place came highly recommended by a friend and it’s been around for over 30 years. The service was friendly and informative. The bowl of wonton noodle soup was tasty and we have enough left over our evening meal. The General Tso’s chicken was very good. The fried dumplings really hit the spot. The fried wontons were just as good. Our son got and shared the vermiceelli bowl with pork and cha gio. He also enjoyed a hot cup of pourover coffee.

This is our favorite Vietnamese place in Houston. Been coming here for almost 20 years. They’ve been open since 1981 and have wonderful food. Favorites include Vietnamese egg rolls and BÒ LÚC LẮC a beef rice dish.

Honest review READ READ. I do not recommend this place due to their high prices and charging extra without telling customers & no receipts of charges. They take advantage of people who don’t ask for one. The price for the portions they serve is not worth it !!!!! See photos I got charge extra for siracha and they never told me. $12 for rice but look at the small portion on the plates size !!!!!. The portions don’t even get you full. The soup broth is not even full!!!! and they only put like 2 wontons & charge extra to put more. They don’t even give you a receipt of charges just for credit card charge I had to ask for one because I thought it was too high!!!! The food is average taste but definely not worth the high price.
I think is the owner some Hispanic guy he’s rude, he’s always staring hard which creeps me out and doesn’t do nothing just looking around not caring for customers.

I forgot to take a picture of my food before eating because I was too busy enjoying it! Love this place. The Guatemalan staff is always friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean, and the food is full of flavor. 10/10 — highly recommend!

this place is so cozy and you feel like you’re in an asian country. the food is really delicious and portions are just enough. staffs are friendly and ample parking. it was my first time trying spring rolls with grilled chicken and it was delicious. i got the shrimp and noodles with lobster sauce which was perfectly seasoned. i would want to come back and try their other dishes because there were many to choose from. also the spicy shrimp noodle soup had unique taste and we liked it. i can see this place being a cozy spot to drink wine with friends as well. the decor is super cute!

The bad-food-quality reviews are all from 6 months ago or older. I assume that the restaurant took notes and improved, because I had the beef Pho was good. I also ordered spring rolls (grilled pork), vietnamese fried rolls and Street noodles with chicken. And all 4 dishes were decent/good
