Nice Spot a bit over priced but what airport food is not. Damn, great service, nice atmosphere ambiance for Christmas.

We ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries. The food wasn’t anything out this world. The fries were the normal shaped ones, could’ve been seasoned more. I prefer Charles Philly Cheesesteak more. The meat wasn’t chewy and the cheese reminded me of really melted down string cheese: The food came out warm, fresh, and fast, our waiter was nice. The place was busy. I 100% recommend the Oreo Milkshake, it was DELICIOUS 10/10.

Decent food if you are in a hurry, like I was had to get a sandwich before I boarded the flight.
Prices are expensive as all airport restaurants.
Service is okay, ofcourse can’t generalize the server I got was just ok, no greetings, no follow up.
Had the Ruben it was ok.

This place genuinely does not have good food. The chicken was dry in wraps (my friends jaw was hurting after trying to chew down the meat). AND salad was disappointing. The portion of fries seems to be picked through rather than equal. The waitress that was serving us walked with a sarcastic pout (lips were pursed). Secondly, the prices are absurd for the quality and speed of food. As a Canadian, 4 plates of overcooked, dry, and poorly portioned food does not meet the amount of dollars converted. Around $120 CAD if it was converted from USD. Keep in mind, this chicken salad was $23 american for the smallest portions. The lettuce in my burger was browning. My group and I are disappointed from this restaurant. The good part about the restaurant is the decorations and the TV entertainment.

Delicious cheeseburger recommended by Kelly. Kelly was very knowledgeable on the menu and provided great hospitality. I was impressed by her service and was the hallmark of my visit during my time at the Detroit airport. Cheeseburger was also delicious and juicy.

We had such a great experience at Max & Erma’s in the Detroit airport thanks to Van. She was so kind, upbeat, and genuinely happy doing her job. You can tell she takes real pride and ownership in running the bar, which made the whole visit enjoyable. Van is definitely an asset to this place. What a great little bar — we’ll absolutely stop by again next time!

Ordered a Philly cheesesteak to take out, it fell apart in my hand, had to ask for a fork.
Tap beer was poured into a visibly soapy glass so it stinks like soap. Truly an airport quality foods lol.

Completely and utterly disappointed. Part of that is on me for expecting the same menu at the local Max and Erma’s from PA but even with a smaller menu – they should be embarrassed. Smoked turkey BLT for me
and a burger and fries for my husband. The turkey was thin, round cut lunchmeat that was heated on a grill. The fries have zero seasoning. The burger? Bland meat and unmelted cheese. Two meals, $50. Such a disappointed for a Max and Ermas, especially when other chains in the airport and serving the full menu. I will never make this mistake again.

Overall great place. Was fairly quiet and the service was quick and nice. Deborah took care of us and was excellent. My only complaint was the salads were mostly iceberg lettuce, which seems cheap for the price. Otherwise, everything was good.

Just had breakfast and got the western omelette. It came out with only cheap ham squares, no cheese, green peppers or onions. It was just eggs and ham cubes. I pointed it out and the waiter only said “exactly” sarcastically. No toast. Just tater tots for the potatoes.
Also the music was blaring pop music loud – relax Max and Erma’s it’s 7 am.
I only had limited time and was starving so I ate it anyway, $20 for that garbage food. Do not recommend.
