Hidden Gem for Authentic Vietnamese Comfort Food!

Viet Tastes absolutely blew me away! I stopped by recently and ordered a few dishes to share, and everything was incredible from start to finish.

The Lotus Root Salad (Gỏi ngó sen tôm thịt) was the perfect balance of textures and flavors with crunchy lotus root, fresh herbs, and shrimp with that sweet-and-sour fish sauce that ties everything together. The shrimp crackers on the side were light and crispy, a great touch!

The House Special Pho (Phở đặc biệt) had one of the cleanest and most flavorful broths I’ve had in a while.
You can really taste the depth in the simmered beef bones, and the mix of rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef balls made it hearty and satisfying.

I also tried the Bún Bò Huế, and it was spot on with richness, being mildly spicy, and aromatic. The broth had that signature Hue-style kick, and the thick round noodles soaked it up perfectly.

Also we got the Matcha Latte with Egg Cream drink was so refreshing, creamy, slightly sweet, and fragrant, the perfect way to cool down after the soups.

On top of the amazing food, the waitress was super kind and attentive. She checked in a few times to make sure everything tasted good, gave us our tea promptly, and had a warm, welcoming attitude that made the experience even better.

The restaurant itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming. The food came out fresh and beautifully presented, and the flavors really transported me straight to Vietnam.

If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese food with generous portions and fresh ingredients, Viet Tastes is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great Vietnamese food and excellent service! We had a wonderful experience here. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for both lunch and dinner. The owner Jae and Tiffany are very friendly, and you can really feel that this is a family-owned business that cares about its customers.

My kids absolutely loved the steak and fried rice—the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. Everything we tried was delicious. Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended

Went with my girlfriend, and I have never seen her finish a bowl of pho before. That was until we went to Viet Tastes. That is how good the food is here. Everyone who likes pho needs to come here because they deserve the business, and selfishly I need them to stay open forever. The coffee is really good too.

I ordered a bánh mì sandwich, an egg roll, and a grilled pork patty roll, everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend this place. Definitely worth a visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food is amazing. It’s the best dry noodles I ever had around here. The wontons are home-made and vegetables are fresh. The restaurant is so clean and new. The Vietnamese coffee is a must try! Best Vietnamese coffee I ever had too. They also have the condiment tray fill up with all authentic sauce. My husband said his Pho is pretty good too. And the portion is so generous. I will definitely come back!

Viet Tastes is a hidden gem for anyone craving real Vietnamese comfort food. Their cơm tấm sườn bì chả (broken rice with grilled pork chop, shredded pork, and egg loaf) is one of the best around—beautifully presented, tender meat, and that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors. The shaken beef fried rice is another standout—juicy, well-seasoned cubes of beef tossed with fragrant rice that’s full of wok aroma. And goat hotpot for their weekly special is perfect for the cold night.

Their coffee hits all the right notes: strong, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. I also loved the smashed avocado—fresh, creamy, and surprisingly refreshing alongside the heavier dishes.

Portions are generous, and everything tastes freshly made. Whether you’re here for a hearty meal or just a good coffee and snack, Viet Tastes delivers consistently delicious food with authentic flavor.

Tried Viet Tastes and really enjoyed it! The food was flavorful and fresh — I had the fish sauce chicken wings, shaken beef side, the signature four-color broken rice dish, and an ube iced coffee. My friend ordered the pho dac biet and the broth was beefy and flavorful. Will come back for that next time! Everything came out delicious, and the restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere and plenty of parking. Service was friendly, and I’d definitely come back again.
