I feel like I’ve found a Vietnamese restaurant that perfectly hits the spot. Vietnamese restaurants in Edinburgh are usually on the pricey side, but this place is reasonably priced—it’s not over-priced. The best part is, it’s genuinely tasty! I’ve tried all the good Vietnamese spots in Edinburgh, and this is the one that best suits my taste. The spicy pho and the duck dish are both absolutely delicious here. Just one thing, table is bit sticky and uncomfortable.

This was one of the most comforting experiences I have had. I miss my country and even though this is food from another country. The preparation, aroma and taste of the food made me feel like home. Amazing place

Loved this place. The food is phenomenal. We had the duck and beef stew pho, both excellent and barely recommended. Extra shout out to the coconut coffee!

Newly opened and very pleasant setting. Immediately noted how attentive the staff were helping my disabled friend get comfortably seated.
The menu is small but nicely balanced. We ordered the Prawn mango salad and Chicken and prawn summer rolls for starters. Whilst waiting for our starters our waitress explained the sauces set out on the table and provided us with chilled water.
Both starters were fresh and tasty although my friend was thrown by the texture of the rice paper.
Mains we ordered fried noodle with chicken and grilled meat (pork) with rice and egg. Both dishes were hot and fresh. The flavour was good and the portions big enough that we couldn’t finish.
Full up but wanting to try more we ordered a coconut shells with coconut ice-cream and two spoons. This was a perfect way to end our visit.
The Bill was a reasonable £48 and we were very happy with our visit. Definitely one to try if you are in the area 10/10.

Saw this place being built over the past year so checked it out. The beef pho is so healing after an illness or a long day before hand, perfect spot for anyone who’s needing some comfort food. Would recommend the cooked Beef Pho with some cheesy fries they go hand in hand, amazing place.

Great spot for a solo person! I ordered a spicy soup with raw beef and a green thai tea. Delicious! I added chilli paste and it was really spicy but I could handle it. Lovely staff. Really glad I stopped by!

As someone who’s been to Vietnam and was led around by a local, I have to say responsibly that the banh xeo here is the best banh xeo I’ve had in my life.

The thing is, the chef executes at a sit down restaurant level, not at a street food level, hence it’s really really good. Technjcally it was perfect, super crispy pancake, the prawn aroma comes thru, and the bean sprouts were well fried.

The catch is obviously the price, it’s much more expensive than street food in Vietnam, although for this level of technical execution it’s more than worth it

Second visit:
Braised beef was very good

Braised pork belly liquid is super thin, completely different from the picture. It’s ok, rather lean

Grilled pork belly vermicelli was average, the grilled pork belly was weak and the sauce is too diluted

Third visit:
Pho is rather light, ckn wasn’t brined

Viet curry was not bad, mainly sweet and the texture of the curry was thick. We got duck and it was reasonably tender

Spring roll was fine, but the pork filling was abit lacking. Prawn inside was good

4th visit:
Grilled pork rice is quite overpriced, it’s just a piece of pork shoulder, and it wasn’t marinated aggressively nor was it charred at all. Average

5th visit:
Iced coffee syrup is correct, however the coffee had a cardboard taste which was unpleasant. For this price of almost 5£, it’s ridiculous

6th visit:
Had the banh xeo again, it’s seriously good. How they have one excellent item and everything else average or worse, I’ve got no idea. Super umami prawn stir fry

A new star in Edinburgh’s Old Town! The food is truly authentic Vietnamese — full of rich flavors that remind me of home. The service is warm and attentive, and the prices are very student-friendly. A perfect spot for anyone looking for real Vietnamese taste in the heart of the city

A delightful little place, cosy looking. The fish balls Pho was fresh and tasted really good, and they were willing to make dietary restriction accommodations.

There were 3 of us, we all had different Pho and all loved ours. I shall return.
