We have been going to Viet House since I moved to US. My hubs had previously discovered it and it was one of the first restaurants he took me to. Never had an issue with any of the dishes. Food always fresh and ample servings. Service always good and polite. Definitely a great place to eat out for just a simple lunch or an evening out with friends. Ordering on line is simple too. All food cooked and served fresh ❤️

Pho was good and lots of meat. Summer rolls were decent. The Viet coffee was amazing – very strong very delicious. Food came out fast. They came around to refill waters even though we didn’t need it. Would definitely go back/recommend it here.

It’s under new ownership. The restaurant name is Green Basil now. The place is completely renovated, clean and comfortable. They serve both Cantonese dimsum and Vietnamese pho.
I ordered a few dimsum to go and they are well prepared and tasted spot on. I’ll return for dining in next time to try the pho and other dishes.

Once again the best Vietnamese Pho restaurant in all of Virginia and possibly the East coast. I’ve dined at Vietnam House in Fairfax for over ten years and it still remains the best in my opinion.
The chicken broth is simply flavored perfectly and you’ll want to drink the bowl at the end. There are a lot of Pho restaurants but only one is the best! Vietnam House in Lee Highway!

For quick bite this good, I had Pho with beef and tripe, also got spring rolls which is really good, but a little bit oily. The place is not fancy, but clean and warm, would still come back here whenever I’m around the area. Good & fasr service too.

Very sad to say, but this place is no longer Viet house, and the food has gone downhill . The Pho no longer has that rich, delicious bone broth taste . It’s just tasteless water. Seriously, the broth was sooooo watered down that it had no flavor. I had to add so much Sriracha just to give it flavor . and the protein portions are so skimp I ordered. Build your own with brisket and let me tell you I could fit the whole portion of brisket in one spoonful, and for $18, I would expect more than just water noodles . My son ordered a Pho but with meatballs and the same thing , broth was tasteless, and meatballs were chewy like gummy bears . The only thing we ordered that was good and worth the money was the Thai tea . and at check out when I was asked how the food was , and I told them not very good, they just said oh and then continued to checked me out and didn’t even address my response . I’m very disappointed in the new restaurant. After spending $58 for 2 bowls of pho and 2 Thai teas including tip , which is very overpriced for the quality of food, and meat portions I will now moving forward take my business directly across the street to the other Pho place . I will not mention the name as it’s not a review for them .
