Stopped in for lunch while in the area. Our first time and the food didn’t disappoint. We wanted something that wasn’t ready and would be easy on our tummy while traveling. The cou try club was made perfect and the la Hoya salad was amazing and get the raspberry vinegar dressing, so yummy. A must try and dont forget to grab some cheesecake before u leave!

Vidalia’s Café is a delightful deli/café in downtown Tahlequah. They have a large menu of meats to sweets, soups salads spuds and chili to chocolate cake. Something for everyone.
I went big with the Cambiano Sandwich: ham, salami, peperoni, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, pesto, garlic aioli, sandwiched between grilled rosemary schiacciato bread, (In Oklahoma schiacciato is pronounced “squished”). A magnificent combination of flavors with a thick stack of meat. I added their delicious potato salad to fill the plate with more food than I could finish. My wife had the Green Island, which is a big taco salad. She commented that the freshness of the salad with the excellent chili, was like a homemade meal!
The restaurant clean, nicely decorated and surprisingly large (check the pictures). Three large dining areas. The restaurant can handle a crowd. The service is order at the counter and your food is delivered quickly. Serve yourself drinks and grab your own table tools and wipes. The restaurant is well staffed with very friendly folks behind the counter.
Definitely one of the best meals that we have had in Tahlequah.

Nice place with pretty good food. I ordered the roast beef with au jus and the meat was like subway roast beef. It wasn’t bad just not what I was expecting.
Dessert looked wonderful! Huge chocolate chip cookies and fresh cut watermelon, yum. Relaxed atmosphere after the crying baby left. I’m a mom and a grandma so I know how it goes sometimes in public with a baby

Not worth the money. Very disappointing food, my wife and I got the hot rod with pasta salad and a price of carrot cake to share for $32. the sandwich was dry and taste more like tuna than chicken with wilted, browning lettuce and Simi hard bread and the pasta salad was an odd combination of tangy and way too sweet. The only reason this got 2 stars and not 1 is because the carrot cake was actually decent.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The food is always good, the portion sizes are decent size, and I’m never disappointed in any new soup or sandwich I try! Their desserts always look heavenly (and taste like it too) and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I like how relaxed and homey it feels when you dine in as well. They also have a small patio where you can sit outside and eat. So, if you are looking for a good place to chow down while getting a feel of downtown Tahlequah, I’d definitely recommend Vidalias!

I am starting this off by saying, I am not typically one to leave a negative review unless I absolutely feel it needs to be heard. I am an avid baker/cook and enjoy supporting small businesses 100%. With that being said, I had high hopes for this place…as a foodie & in town visiting and wanting to eat here, I was incredibly disappointed and shocked.
In the photo is the kids “cheese nachos”. Only the top chips had shredded cheese and all other chips had nothing. If this was my business, I would be totally embarrassed by this…. We went ahead and exchanged this for a grilled cheese. We also got the chocolate mini Bundt , with ganache… the chocolate cake was so old and stale, the first fork got stuck in the cake and broke(not even kidding). The second fork , witn effort, got through the cake. It is by far the worst piece of cake I’ve ever had in my life. No exaggeration, I am being totally serious.
Maybe this place used to be good, but today it definitely was not.
I can not recommend.

I love coming here every time I am in town. The food is amazing, the owner and staff are so sweet, and they get food out in a timely manner. Don’t miss out on the dessert! The strawberry shortcake and oreo cheesecake is my favorite.

Really impressed! First time eating here, everything looks and tastes homemade. Customer service was great, all the employees look like they enjoy it there. It’s worth venturing into old downtown to have some great food!
