I had the lomo bowl. It was very vinegar-flavored, so overwhelming. The meat was a bit too well done for my order. The green salsa was good but spicy. I had the chicha morada latte and that was very tasty. I would go back to try other items but I did not enjoy my meal. The server was nice but service was slow.

Brunch was fantastic. Ordered Machaca and coffee and it was delicious. Portions were generous and food came out pretty fast. Staff was very friendly without constantly being over at our table. Will be returning.

I love this place.they have some of the best food anywhere in the Portland area. Excellent salsas, fresh ingredients and specials. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great eats along the Latin/mexican food spectrum. They also have more traditional options like omelettes. The chilaquiles are the best I’ve ever had.

All my family is in love with this place! We really loved and enjoy the food! we been here like 6 times so far and every time we try different plates. Let me tell you that all my kids loved the food specially the Nutella and Moca Azteca Coffee (they are so delicious). We definitely recommend it to everyone! All staff are so nice and make you feel comfortable every single moment.

Everyone who we interacted with was super friendly. The drinks were delicious. The entire restaurant has a very unique vibe with Latin American/ Spanish influences in decoration, music and the menu! They have a breakfast special before 10 am. Highly recommend as a solid breakfast option, especially brunch with boozy drinks.

I definitely recommend checking this place out. If you haven’t already the coffees were really good. The pastry was delicious and the sandwich that I got and the bowl that my partner got were both so good excited to go back there again! Also, the atmosphere was clean and chill. The service was great!

Vida 33 is the new, refreshed cafe after Spring Creek changed owners. I was nervous this would mean my favorite local coffee shop would become something I wouldn’t enjoy, but that hasn’t been the case! The new owners clearly care about keeping what made the place special to regulars while bringing new, higher-quality offerings to Milwaukie. The coffee is still fantastic, but now there’s a wider variety of food that’s definitely elevated from before. I love the latin flare while still feeling like classic cafe food. AND they just launched a dinner service! If you haven’t tried their more upscale dinner offerings, you should! The only thing I’d like to see are more vegetarian options on the menu.

Review from 2017 (formerly Spring Creek): Love this place. I come here at least once a week for a coffee treat. The baristas are always so friendly and make a real effort to get to know the regulars. They also always make my drink (which is a very specific drink order) just right. Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are okay, but they do always prepare everything very quickly, so it’s nice to pick something up when you’re on the run. There are lots of places to sit inside, including both tables and chairs and more comfortable living-room-like furniture. This is also a lovely place to stop by when the Milwaukie farmer’s market is in full swing. This place is not as hip as many of the other coffee shops in the Portland area, but I think it’s a more comfortable place to hang out and is reasonably priced.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! Service was nice and unassuming. I had the morning Margarita with vodka instead of tequila and it was so fresh and delicious! The Chili Rellano Omelette was devine as were the fresh tortillas. My hub had the Asada and eggs and said it was great. The sauces are on point and the guacamole was perfectly balanced. The house made hot sauce has just the right amount of heat and was so flavorful I wish they bottled it so I could use on everything! It was our first time in and though it’s only been an hour I am already craving it and want to try everything on the menu!

A usually a very lively, fun and sweet place where the food is gorgeous and so yummy! We typically go there for breakfast or lunch and it sounds like they’ll be open for dinner when the weather gets warmer but OMG we love these folks and have not had anything that we didn’t like! I usually get the chili relleno omelette and my sweetie gets the chilaquiles which come in a variety of styles. The mochas are to die for and the juice is fresh and delicious, definite artistry and love for the community all throughout our experience here, every time. Definitely will keep coming back!

Unfortunately I dislike writing negative reviews but today’s experience was disappointing. We have been coming here frequently and the drinks are amazing and food is generally good. Today I ordered 3 carne asada tacos. Upon receiving them I noticed two pieces of plastic on 2 of the 3 tacos. My partner and I having culinary experience know when there’s a physical contaminant in the food vs a regular edibile ingredient. I took my tacos back and showed the gentleman the piece of plastic. He tried to lie saying it was shredded pieces of onion when it obviously wasn’t. He did not take the plate back or offer to make something new. We were disappointed ultimately of the experience and even were glared at as we left. They double downed again when we were paying saying “sorry for the onion.”
