Had the pleasure of dining at Victor’s in Florence, South Carolina, and it exceeded expectations from start to finish.
The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming — elegant without feeling stuffy — and the service truly reflects classic Southern hospitality. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there, which always makes a difference.
A special shoutout to Stephanie, the bartender, who was an absolute gem. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made fantastic recommendations that did not disappoint. I started with the she-crab soup (do yourself a favor and get the large — thank me later). Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
For dessert, I went with the seasonal cake, a house-made red velvet, and it was outstanding — moist, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell when a kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and that’s very much the case here.
Overall, Victor’s delivers on ambiance, service, and food — a rare trifecta. Whether you’re passing through Florence, visiting the Carolinas, or a local looking for a consistently great spot, this place is absolutely worth stopping by. I’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I came to Florence from Houston, Texas to visit our grandson for the first time. We resided at the Tapestry Hotel and Victors was attached. I took my 1 month old grandson to the restaurant and we had an appetizer and croissant chicken salad. I saw there was a Fried Green tomato BLT but all I wanted was the Fried Green tomatoes so they modified the menu just for me! I felt so special and it was delicious! James was my waiter and super attentive and friendly. He was also concerned about my grandsons comfort. Overall, it was affordable and delicious! Highly recommend!!!

I’m terrible with names, but I wanted to say awesome job by the staff tonight. It all started with the text message from Ms. Rhonda, very warm and welcoming. Her spirit in person is the same. Next our waiter Evan was awesome. Full of personality and didn’t mind making sure our meal was what we needed it to be. Now for the MOD (manager on duty). I think her name was Shavonne. She was awesome. She came to our table and made sure we had everything we needed. I also watched her to do this with all tables. I LOVE the new setup and will definitely put Victor’s in my rotation for date night.

Co-Hosted an event there. The event was very nice and well attended with people mostly over the age of 65. Food was good. Service from the event planners, managers, was not so pleasant. They kept interrupting the with small matters like the music is too loud, no one can order from the bar, and charging extra fees for anticipated mishaps. Very very rude. Not for everybody. Will not be going back.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal here after a very long trip. The atmosphere was modern but comfortable and we loved our cozy booth. Our server was friendly and efficient. We have been to many restaurants in the area (Charleston, Savannah, Hilton Head) and this is one of our favorites! We shared the she crab soup (prepared traditionally and oh so yummy), fried oysters and bass. All were amazing and came with a basket of melt in mouth cornbread. We loved our experience and appreciate being taken care of. Many beers on tap was the icing on the cake 🙂

Our waitress Hanna and trainee Tania were very polite. Hanna was very knowledgeable about menu and gave sound advice of menu. She was spot on and food was delicious. Presentation very appealing. Hanna was even kind to take our picture. The surrounding atmosphere did not make us feel uncomfortable. And we were very comfortable with our attire. Awesome experience! Will be back! BTW this was our first time at Victors.

Excellent place to meet friends for a drink and fine dining. The staff are friendly and professional. Our wagyu burgers were excellent. Don’t forget to split desert; we had just enough room for cheesecake.

We were passing through town and was looking for a comfortable place to eat. Stumbled on this gem and had the best lunch in a long time. I’m sorry, I forgot the server’s name, but he was amazing! I couldn’t decide between two things, he answered for me, and I was not disappointed. I felt like I was in good hands and we wished we didn’t have to drive or I would have tried a cocktail. 10/10, will definitely try to make trip back just because.
